Although the Salt 1 earned an extremely devoted following, since it was based on the third-generation Delica, it lacked some of the design improvements that make the Delica 4 even better. So, consistent with Spydercos obsession with Constant Quality Improvement (C.Q.I.), they revamped the design to create the Spyderco Pacific Salt 2 Folding Knife in Yellow. It combines all the salient features of the Delica 4 Lightweight model with the corrosion-resistant advantages of H-1 PlainEdge steel. The Pacific Salt 2 includes a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern, enhanced handle ergonomics, and a versatile four-position pocket clip. In addition to these features, this knife integrates an 3.78-inch H-1 blade with a linerless handle and hollow grind. This knife was born to perform in and around the water. Like the Endura 4, the Pacific Salt 2 comes with a fabricated Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon handle. This allows the knife to be lightweight and high-strength. To provide a non-slip grip, this knife is molded with Spydercos patented pattern, Bi-Directional Texturing. This texture pattern consists of opposing graduated steps radiating outward from the center of the handle.
