Pros: Cheaper than Microsoft version but works just as well.
Overall Review: I bought this so I could do Powerpoint presentations using older projectors that have VGA only. It does an excellent job, and it's reasonably priced.
Overall Review: I use a dock for my windows computer, but unfortunately it's not also compatible with my Mac, so I use this to be able to quickly move my monitor cables to and from my mac
Overall Review: Yes, would recommend
Pros: Does it's Job.
Allows the VGA to screw in (not that it would slide out anyway).
Cons: Honestly can't think of anything.
Overall Review: I use this to teach using the university's ancient VGA projector connections. It works great without problems.
Pros: Very fair price and they just work. I use these with all my Intel NUC builds. They work and I have not had a bad one yet or any defective units. Good picture display no artifacts.
Cons: Price and reliability
Pros: Compact (for laptop use), active adapter, and latest specs.
Cons: Mini-DP side of the adapter is loose in the new laptop's socket.
Overall Review: The first symptom of a loose connection was loss of audio. Wiggling the connector usually kills the video, too, but then brings back both audio and video. The laptop is only a little older than this adapter.
Pros: Works great. Has a quality feel. DisplayPort connection is nice and solid.
Cons: It wasn't free?
Pros: Works great, good quality, got on sale for $17.99, Startech makes nice quality products, they seem to use nice high quality plastics.
Cons: Make sure that you need a MINI Display Port, not regular Display Port.
