Overall Review: I bought this as an upgrade in anticipation of the next-gen nvidia and AMD cards. I also wanted a fully modular power supply for my smallish micro-ATX case. I was eyeing a few EVGA PSUs initially, but when I read that Super Flower was originally an OEM for EVGA I went for this product instead. I read some very positive initial reviews that helped inform my decision. I also figured that since Super Flower is trying to make its debut, the general quality and service might be better out of an effort to make a good first impression. I am very satisfied with the purchase overall; the build quality is good and it has the features and efficiency I wanted.

Overall Review: I live in an area with constant power fluctuations. When I built my rig, I went with a well known brand. That psu was super sensitive to power fluctuations and would shut down. I bought a high quality battery backup and it was still sensitive to it and still shutdown everytime. After looking into many different forums I found that I was not the only one with this issue. So I took a chance on this one. I am now very satisfied with this super flower. The price was amazing for a 850 80+ gold. My rig hasn't shut off once due to power fluctuations. I will definitely keep this in brand in mind for future builds.

Overall Review: I've been using this since January 2021 until now (October 2021). I had installed this in a brand new build (5800x, RTX 3070) and all was well for a very long time - had no issues. More recently, in August/September 2021, I've been starting to get random restarts on my build, at idle (not even running any heavy loads, maybe at most a Discord call and youtube videos). It'll restart a bit and then usually work for the rest of my PC session. It's a shame because the install was easy and I had a very solid 8 months with it. I've tried debugging other potential issues, and at this point I think it's just the PSU has some sort of defect. Would not recommend to others and am looking to replace this PSU asap. EDIT (10/13/2021): Shortly after posting this review, a Super Flower service representative reached out to me and very nicely offered a full free replacement on the unit. While I am still wary of the long term reliability of these units and would be hesitant to use another in my own PC build, I appreciate that they reached out promptly and offered a replacement. For any builders with defective units, I would suggest contacting Super Flower support since they seem responsive. With this in mind I've changed my original rating from 2/5 to 4/5.
