Pros: Runs really quiet. I had another Corsair 1000w gold and I can confirm this runs quieter and cooler when in high load.
Cons: The end of cables are not bundled or tied together. Much much easier to plug into mother board but less tidy. Some people might find it as a con.
Overall Review: I got mine when on sale. From Gold to Platinum is not a huge difference but a welcomed one. I would recommend buy this around 200
Pros: So not bad. I ordered by 11/19/2020 received it on 20. I tested with power supply tester from Thermaltake Dr. Power II every thing looks good. Please for new comer please like all other power supply no matter if you pay 1k for a powersupply. Please test it. So I test it numbers look good. I know it aint going to pop my electronic. But those that are defective out of box be careful it can ruin ur whole system that why you must test power supply with a tester. Anyway's to this day. December 13 2020 it been working. My system been more stable then a evga 550 ga. I will be good for 5 to 10 years. This is a over kill. My system need atleast 650 to 750 watt. I have a Ryzen 3800x, Asus Tuf x570 Gaming wifi edition board, 32 g 3200 mhz ram, rx 580 2 mechanical hard drive, 1 ssd, 1 nvme ssd. Cpu fan, 4 rgb fans. I have room for spare for upgrade thanks for great price. I got it like 189.99 the power supply. They make power supply for evga. So they been around for A LOT OF YEARS. Want to future proof get this. Lot of wattage when system need that power. And it is very quite vs my Evga 550 ga
Cons: Add a rgb fan to make my games faster. LOL j/k nothing I am not against anything.
Overall Review: Over all I will buy it again on another build. Why not? 150 percent happy. Been a IT since 1990's.
Pros: -Has a single 12V rail that can supply the full 1200 watts (99.9 Amps) - The dual CPU 8 Pin power, 24 pin motherboard, and multiple 8 pin PCI-E VGA power cables are plenty long enough to run in a full tower case behind the motherboard tray, no extension cables were needed - ECO mode keeps the fan off when the load temp is below 55C, which helps the dual ball bearing fan last a long time, plus being a platinum power supply less than 10% of the electricity is wasted as heat, which means it will not heat up as quickly under load - Comes with a very nice SuperFlower labeled velcro extra power cables storage bag - I am using it to power a top-end build, Ryzen 9 5900x, 96GB 3600mhz DDR4, x570 Aorus Master motherboard, RTX 3080 Aorus Master, 5TB NVMe SSDs, SoundBlaster AE-5 Plus Soundcard, Coolermaster Masterliquid 360mm liquid cpu cooler. I'm pooling over 500 watts from the wall, which puts it around the 50% mark of this power supply or 92% power efficiency.
Cons: While the power supply has a dual ball bearing fan that will last a long time, I think a Fluid Dynamic Fan would have been better. If using ECO mode ON switch, so the fan will not spin up unless it is really needed, 55C+, which will help extend the life of the dual bearing cooling fan.
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend this Super Flower 1200 watt power supply to anyone with a Top-End PC and demanding power efficiency requirements who is looking to be able to not worry about future upgrades' power requirements. This a top-end, efficient power supply that will handle the PC component demands of now and into the future.
Pros: Not much to say other than it’s a reliable psu.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I have 2 of these running 24/7 for a month now and it works great with no problems. Idk what the negative reviews are all about, but I would definitely recommend it! In fact, I’m looking forward to ordering two of the 1600w versions!
Overall Review: Had problems with EVGA 850GA not being able to run my 3090. Got this power supply and now it runs great.
Cons: Power source was functional but I was unaware at purchase that some of the modular plug-in cables had a different configuration from the Seasonic source I was attempting to replace. The cables that had different plug-in configurations at the power source included the 18 pin motherboard cable (not a problem as was included) and the 6 pin SATA cable connectors. The number of SATA connectors supplied with the power source was inadequate to connect with the 6 hdd, 2 burners, and an IcyDock I use in my system. After spending several hours ascertaining why the SuperFlower didn't function in my system, I didn't much feel like searching for additional compatible SATA power connectors with sufficient 7 pin power plugs to rewire my computer. So paid the costs of return and wrote off the experience (time and expense) as an educational cost. I ordered a TX-1000 Seasonic, installed it in about 15 min and emerged a much happier camper. Note to self: do more research before buying such things and make fewer assumptions. Perhaps someone else may benefit from this review.
Overall Review: Again power source was functional and looked good and was quiet. Very little setup information was provided with source and web site was not extensive. Perhaps I missed the part where one could purchase additional SATA cabling. Not a happy experience for me but the responsibility for the purchase was mine. I can't find it in my heart to award more than one egg.
Pros: I had never heard of this "Super Flower" company before, but based on the reviews here I took a chance and bought this power supply and it is (1)really quiet and (2)stable and is flawless, many months later, the documentation was also adequate and the quality seems pretty good.
Cons: No issues at any level.
Overall Review: Consider this company and their products if you are in the market for a new power supply.
Pros: Runs my current system without issue. The unit and the cables feel heavy and well built. Quiet and efficient. I personally like that the cables are not sleeved. Made by Super Flower, for those that don't know Super Flower manufactured the EVGA G2, G3, P2 and T2 lines of power supplies that are based off of this platform.
Cons: Not a lot of information out there about this particular unit. At the time of this review, I don't see a single professional review on this model. Info that came with psu was lacking.
Overall Review: Great power supply. I have not had a single issue with it. System Specs i9 9900k at 5.1ghz all core 32 gb ddr4 3600 Corsair 240mm aio EVGA GTX 1080 (power and temp sliders maxed) 5 hard drives - 2 nvme, 1 sata ssd, 2 2tb mechanical drives 3 case fans Asus Z390E mobo The GTX 1080 will be swapped for a 3080 as soon as I can find one.
