Pros: Worked immediately with both DOS and Linux. Only Windows XP had to look for a driver, and it found it in its own driver list. Didn't need the CD that came with it.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Ordered a second one.

Pros: It does exactly what its supposed to. It been up 3 days w/o a problem.

Cons: Lengthy install.

Overall Review: If I needed another serial cad I would definitely purchase another one of these

Pros: Worked great w/ubuntu linux, recognized immediately with no special driver install.

Cons: Had a driver been required, the linux driver docs are a bit out of date - 2.4 kernel vintage.

Overall Review: Would buy one of these again.

Pros: New Dell's don't have serial ports. I installed a couple as Point of Sale terminals and needed serial ports for PIN pads and Pole Displays, worked perfectly, quick install, cheap, highly recommended!

Pros: Reading these reviews and knowing that these add on cards are flaky sometimes I was nervous. But I needed one and it was cheap. I'm happy. Windows recognized and configured it. I did'nt bother with the installer as that would only muck things up. So much better than those mickey mouse USB serial thingys!

Cons: DO NOT USE THE INSTALLER USE WHAT YOUR O/S ASSIGNS IT and you'll be OK!

Pros: I was a little nervous about getting this from all the reviews that say the drivers are a pain to install. Vista found the drivers off of Windows Update and installed them as soon as it booted. Plugged my cisco router in, and connected right up! Can't beat it for the price.

Cons: I suppose all the driver problems are related to XP machines, so if you have XP be careful.

Overall Review: Good quality device, hasn't given me any problems at all.

Pros: Nice Solution for my Cisco Lab and other Serial Devices

Cons: Doesn't work with Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Ed.

Pros: This card works great when using the supplied drivers or a system that understands its unique aspects.

Cons: This card uses a different timing crystal that is 10x faster than most cards, requiring a driver recompile if you are using FreeBSD. To do so, you'll need to edit pucdata.c and multiply COM_FREQ*10.

Overall Review: This card wouldn't have been such a pain to set up if they used industry standards, but that being said, most Windows users or otherwise will not notice any problems if they use the supplied drivers.
