TAIYO YUDEN 4.7GB 8X DVD+R 50 Packs Spindle Disc Model DVD+R47ZZSB8

Pros: Able to burn at 16x on my NEC ND-3530A, even though it is only rated at 8x. Good top coat on the discs that looks like it will take a sharpie quite well.

Cons: No name brand recognition to the common user.

Overall Review: Try a pack of these for your next set of DVDs... they will not dissapoint.

Pros: TAIYO YUDEN is all I will ever use in my Plextor. Never a coaster. These are rated at 8x but burn fine at 12x in my Plextor 12x burner without any firmware hacks or voodoo.

Cons: Don't get these if you want to write alot on the disc, get printable ones.

Overall Review: Cant seem to find TAIYO YUDEN disks at B&M stores anymore. Used to find made in Japan Fuji's and Sony's but I can't anymore. This was the only logical solution.

Pros: They seem to be pretty reliable so far. Read everywhere I try. Good price.

Cons: The surface is not perfect for a marker. The cakebox is kinda awkward.

Overall Review: The reliability is most important after all.

Pros: Burned 20 discs so far, no coasters. First media to burn at 12x on my Plextor PX-712A. Discs play great in my cheap Philips DVD player.

Cons: Discs seem to scratch easier than others, but has not effected data recovery or playback. The cakebox is pretty flimsy (superficial)

Overall Review: This will be my preferred media from now on, thanks NewEgg!

Pros: Great Quality Media,i am able to overspeed burn these on my benq 1655 up to 16x,however ive only burnt 6 of them at 12x so far and the media scan quality using nero cdspeed was always above a 96 score.

Cons: Shinny top to them i prefer verbatims tops they are more marker freindly,but not really a con for most.

Overall Review: i also can burn these with my lg-4163b at 12x but no 16x like benq,if u have a drive that can atleast burn them at 12x its well worth it.

Comments: Taiyo Yuden. 100% Quality. These are the "T02" discs that everyone wants! I've gone through nearly 200 of these now and I have yet to burn a single coaster. These 8X discs burn at 12x on my Pioneer A09/109. Highly recommended. And as usual, Newegg shipped a day early.

Comments: This media burns steady at X16 in my NEC ND3500, not even one error yet and I used at least 500 of them! The best of any thing I've tried. I had so many problems with other media - even Verbatim DVD+R X16 sometimes shows red sectors in "Nero CD-DVD Speed" quality control utility, but xxxxxxxx - NEVER! Trust me - I have years of experience and I know what I'm talking about.

Pros: Burnt 12 dics so far. Not a one coaster material

Overall Review: very nice quality. girlfriends father makes these and thought i'd try them out.
