The Tayama Copper Square Pan is suitable for cooking on any surface – electric, gas, ceramic, or even induction cooktops. Pros: Handsome cookware. Sturdy construction. It doesn't matter what you cook or burn in it. It cleans up with just a quick sponge wipe & rinse. Fry basket & steamer plate included works great. Works great as a regular frying pan for eggs, bacon, burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc. Metal kitchen utensils won't harm it. I received this product as a gift. That's why I'm not listed as a "verified owner".
Cons: Absolutely none!! Had it for 6 months. Use it daily (I cook a lot) It seriously is one of the BEST pieces of cookware I own!

Why don't you just RMA it for a good one?] Also everyone and I mean EVERYONE who purchases this type of cookware need to follow the "break in procedure" described in the enclosed literature. You MUST coat this with clean cooking oil & then bake it empty in the oven at the temperature AND for the time specified or YOU WILL have possible issues with the ceramic coating. Hope this helps! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!!

The non stick coating has failed. Clean up takes soap, water and scrubbing with a pot scrubbing sponge.
Pros: The lid also fits my 9.5 inch Copper Chef square fry pan. The Tayama TCSP-10 has the same handle and copper color as the Copper Chef, so it looks like part of matching set.
Cons: After moderate use, the bottom of the pan has developed a slight cupping. This causes any added oil to puddle around the edges of the pan. The Copper Chef fry pan has the same amount of cupping so I presume it is not a manufacturing defect but is related to the design. To me, this is a very minor issue does not effect any of my food prep
Overall Review: I have already recommended the set to others as long as they can find it in the $20 to $30 price range.

Pros: Well made, solid glass cover, non-stick, easy to clean.
Can use higher heat on an electric stove top up to 800 degrees?
Came with insert shelf for steaming veggies + frying basket.
Cons: The steaming shelf has 4 legs that must be inserted before use.
These seem to be pretty sharp on the edges.
Caution advised!
Please be careful when inserting or removing the 4 legs for storage or cleaning.
Overall Review: Highly recommend this product. Solves my problem for using high heat with electric stove top. It is the only non-stick, large capacity, + glass cover, with solidly made metal handles fry pan I have that works for those flash frozen quick meals (around 13 minutes). Can now sear the meat on medium-high heat using butter without burning. Turn down to medium or medium-low heat, then add main ingredients, add small amount of water, cover, stir a few times for 5 to 7 minutes, add sauce, stir and serve.
This pan is very easy to clean as well, nothing so far has stuck to it. cleans easily with dish soap and hot water. I would buy this again and it would make a great gift for someone as well. A great product finally !!
