I haven't used it in that particular model, but I have used it in a different Acer and am currently using it in a Toshiba. Both had 4GB to start with. I didn't notice a difference in the Acer, but it was underpowered for what I was doing. The Toshiba is a newer model and the extra ram has made a noticeable difference. I'd buy this same RAM again.

It should work fine, yes. You laptop supports 1333 RAM up to 8GB (2x4GB). If the laptop only has 1 4GB stick already then you will be all set, just remember the stock RAM is 1066 so this will slow down to that to run in parallel.

Hello,

I have a gateway nv55c P6100 @2.00ghz 3gb DDR3 ram (two slots : 1 elpida 2gb ddr3 2rx8 pc3 10600 and the other kingston 1gb 1rx8). Will this Team Elite ram work on my computer if I combine it with my elpida 2gb ram?

Yes, should work fine. I can't say with 100% certainty, but I'm 99% sure it would be fine. Chipset supports DDR3 at 1066 dual channel up to 8GB, so a 4GB stick should be fine. Gateway states the laptop can expand up to 8GB as well, so they didn't do anything dumb with the chipset to limit channels.

One thing you should check first is the version of Windows you are running. If it is 32bit, you will not see more than 4GB of the RAM, even with 6GB installed. You must use a 64bit version of Windows to address the full 6GB of RAM.

Not sure, make sure its the same type of memory, for example DDR3 or DDr2 . Im sure everything being made now is DD3. The pin numbers also have to match up. Im not sure how you find this out but I just opened my laptop and saw where the Ram indent was ( on the actual stick itself) then I shopped around for DDR3 with the same indent position.

If you are asking about the CPU socket, there isn't one. The CPU should be soldered to the motherboard, it cannot be upgraded.

If this is a question about this RAM, it should be fine. The RAM will run at 1066, not the full 1333 this RAM is capable of, but it should be supported fine by the motherboard.

I'm guessing you are talking about an Eee PC 1005HAB. No, those older Eee PCs used DDR2 RAM, this is DDR3.

My research results:
Yes this memory is supported.
The memory supports  PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333). 
You can go up to 2 sticks of 8 Gb of ram.
The total ram supported is 16  Gb.

It depends on the memory already installed and the motherboard.  Open up the bottom memory compartment and get memory speed and latency and get something that matches that exactly.
