Not listed as low profile, however, similar Team Vulcan modules are listed with a description of "low profile heat spreaders" with product description "Team Vulcan Low Profile heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.24" (31.0mm), providing extra clearance around large CPU coolers to help increase system airflow and cooling."  This description is from "Team Vulcan 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)" which appears to have the identical heat spreader and specs.  This white 8 GB module has been great for me, and the heat spreader is not any higher than a module without a heat spreader.  Hope that helps.
