Pros: Did exactly as advertised, easy to install...my PC is whisper quite.
Cons: None to think of...
Overall Review: If you have a bit of fan noise/rattle or are installing new fans, it's a good choice to put in noise dampeners right away.
Pros: Plenty of parts for dampening fans. I could probably do 3 fans with provided parts.
Cons: Case allows gasket to show on 1 side.
Overall Review: Didn't remove the vibration on case but it wasn't the 80mm fan causing it. I beleive fan vibrations can cause noise so I'm keeping it.
Pros: Helps keep the noise down on a rattling case.
Their green... I like green.
Cons: Some people may have problems keeping these straight
while screwing down the fan(s). see below
Overall Review: Put superglue on the flat side of the dampener and press it down on the fan. (worked for me).
Pros: Not only do they glow in the dark, they are UV reactive! A buck chepaer too...
Cons: Wish they had blue to go with the rest of the color scheme.
Pros: None really
Cons: Too stiff, still transfers vibration, doesn't fit to the fan like Vantec's do. Bright green color.. Vantec's are clear. Takes about 5 times longer to get installed right than the vantec's do. It twists and deforms as you tigten the screws and slightly blocks the fan. Just not up to par with the competition.
Overall Review: Go with Vantec's
Pros: Worked as stated
Cons: Doesn't work on all Lian Li case fans
Overall Review: Did what it stated it would do and silenced one noisy fan.
Pros: It works... but enough? I recommend using dampeners when you are trying to eek out every bit of silence.
Cons: Don't expect anything dramatic from any noise dampener unless a lot of the noise being generated is due to vibration being passed to your case. Buy good fans and you won't have much problems.
Overall Review: If case transferring vibration to the case is what is causing noise problems then then use the included silicon washers to prevent the screws transferring as much vibration. Don't tighten the screws down too far or the washers won't help.
Pros: I had a system case plastic side-cover window which was vibrating because of the 80mm PWM fan I hard-mounted on the side vent. A noise dampener solved that problem. The second dampener was used on a rear vent of this same aluminum case, that had a huge tendency to vibrate also, and it quieted way down. Glad there are Newegg solutions to all my problems.
