Thermaltake A4022 92mm CPU Cooler

Pros: Runs my CPU at 28 - 34 degrees C (got to 41C running Prime 95) AMD Athlon II X2 245 Regor 2.9GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core.

Cons: None yet.

Overall Review: Also quiet, 1500 RPM.

Pros: this combined with like three other fans keeps my rig frigid and uninhabitable 40 degrees . and my motherboard temp is 35 degrees.

Cons: it can`t cool my entire rig by it`s self not really a con no cpu cooler can cool an entire pc by it`s self

Overall Review: As cold and frigid as my wife but is a lot cheaper and works for a living

Pros: Everything about this cooler is excellent. I had this installed on a AMD Phenom II 8950 CPU. I bought an FX FX 990 Sabertooth AM3+ mobo, and put in an FX 6100 x6 CPU. I used this heatsink instead of the stock one it came with. I OC'd the CPU to 4.31 GHz, and it keeps it at 27 degrees idle, and in the upper 40's under stress. Keep in mind that's it's only a 95 watt CPU, but still....this heat sink is awesome!

Cons: It doesn't come with a "shut my wife up" feature.

Overall Review: I believe it's listed as an AM2, but it works great for my AM3+ CPU.

Pros: Quiet and easy to install.

Cons: Installed on a 100w APU. Blue screen a my new rig a few times due to high temps under full load (no over clock). I found the temp was up to 63c on morning after a night of running Boinc at full load. I dropped processor time to 50% and the temps quickly came down into the high 30's. I don't recommend this on a CPU rated higher that 90-95w...100w seems like its just a tad too much to handle for this cooler.

Overall Review: If I had the 2 core or 3 core APU, I bet this would be a great option. Seems a bit under powered to handle the 4 core A8-3850

Pros: This is very easy to attach and does exactly what it's intended to do.

Cons: I'm taking an egg off for the following: The way that it fastens to the motherboard must be at a tilt; it's fine when the case is laying on it's side (with the mobo facing up), but when the case stands, the tilt causes the fan to grind the fan guard, making it extremely loud (and I'm sure it's overworking the motor). I'm having to turn the case on its side to keep it silent.

Overall Review: For the price it is really pretty great, but I was really hoping for something living room quiet, and it isn't. It is really hard to believe the "16 dbA" spec, but ohh well.

Pros: Better than stock cooler AMD 4400.

Overall Review: Fits well in Acer AST 180 6100 AM2 motherboard. Works like how it should, better than stock.

Pros: 20C drop in CPU temp

Cons: Installation in ASUS M5A99 EVO required some fabrication skill. Instructions included are poor

Overall Review: It was kind of a PITA to install, as I had to do some modifications to the motherboard itself to get the clips for the heatsink to secure everything properly. Still, the efforts were worth it. My 6 core processor was frying eggs in the high 60's C with the standard AMD fan/heatsink combo, and this heatsink brought things down into the mid 40's C. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I might not have believed it.
