will this cool a amd FX9590?

It will cool an AMD FX9590, it has the mounting brackets for AMD and Intel, so as long as your motherboard will support the weight it will be good. The reach isnt very great with the cooling tubes though, so make sure it fits correctly before trying to mount permanently.

Will this work on a Threadripper CPU?

Yes. With the Zenith Extreme, I average around 30C on idle. And even though my case couldn't support the 360 variant, load temps are pretty consistent regardless with the 240. Just don't think you'll be over clocking like crazy with that cooler, I'm more than satisfied with 4GHz across all cores that I have. And if you plan on using the RGB alot, at least you can save different profiles with Thermaltake's desktop software  (avoid the phone app entirely), disappointingly unlike Asus's Aura Sync.

will the RGB control work from MSI Mystic Light Sync? or do you have to use the thermaltake software?

gotta have the tt software, but you also have to make sure you get the right tt software.

Does it come with any thermal bond, paste?

The thermal paste/pad is preapplied on the CPU cooler.

is it compatable with asus aura sync?

Unfortunately it is not, can confirm as i have an asus mobo, graphics card and my ram is aura compatible.
