Darksiders: Wrath of War Xbox 360 Game

Pros: Combines a great fighting system with puzzle solving mechanics. The dungeons in this game will remind you a bit of Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver mixed with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The combat is a bit of a mix of Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver plus GOW, but with more gadgets like Legend of Zelda games. The boss fights are very well implemented with trying to figure out there weaknesses. The pacing of this games probably the best I've ever seen. As soon as your sick of fighting guys they'll give you a panzer dragoon fighting sequence on a flying bird, a huge puzzle, a temporary huge gun and battle to see who gets the most kills, and so on. It has plenty of secrets spread throughout the game and isn't to bad on back tracking. Overall it's just fun, and a true gamers game.

Cons: The storyline leaves something to be desired, but personally I thought the same thing about The Legend of Zelda games. It's not all that original, but I personally like all the little nods of the head with refferences to other games and movies. This is not a very cinamatic game, so if you are into that look else where because this game does not try to be a movie.

Overall Review: The game is between 15-20 hours long. This is the second game I've ever preordered, and I am fully content with my choice.

Pros: I bought this game because I had heard that it was, at its heart, a lot like recent Legend of Zelda games. This is true. There is a big world to explore, a good selection of equipment to find, a good story, and some excellent voice acting. Combat is fast and fun. I liked the way you can tailor your character to your play style based on the abilities you pick. You can focus on upgrading a small selection of abilities, or you can choose a lot of different abilities for more complexity and challenge.

Cons: Some of the boss fights are unfairly challenging. I don't mind a challenge, but on a few occasions the boss fights were just cheap. I was actually unable to finish the game because of this.

Overall Review: I enjoyed the game up until the point that I got stuck on the big spider boss.

Pros: Its Zelda! An angry, serious, and violent Zelda. well done and enjoyable despite being a by-the-numbers imitation makes use of well known voice talent easy 1000 gs

Cons: takes itself a little too seriously controls can be flaky at times, especially on horseback horse usage is mostly confined to the @2 areas designed around its use making what would be super useful in getting around almost useless

Overall Review: weird game melding fictional use of biblical themes and characters with Zelda: Ocarina of Time all the way down to using a hook shot and riding around a pony but everything is run down and on fire populated with demons instead of happy trees and rainbows and fuzzy wuzzies. Also weird is that (like Okami), its a better Zelda game than Nintendo has been able to manage since Ocarina of Time.

Pros: Fun game overall. Awesome graphics and sound, but these areas still could have been improved.

Cons: Controls take sometime getting used to. Storyline is average.

Overall Review: Looking forward to the next one; hopefully they capitalize on this ones flaws.

Pros: Awesome Hack/slash game during the first hour of play. -Cool main character -fun upgrade system - plenty of moves to master

Cons: This game quickly took a turn for the worst. It started as a fast paced action packed hack/slash then slowed to a crawl with Puzzles. I dont mind a few clever puzzles here and there but these are mind numbing and pointless.

Overall Review: Great game only held back by out of place puzzles.

Pros: It's a good game that keeps getting better as you go along. If this game was music from the 80's, it would be classified as heavy metal. (analogy) It rocks.

Cons: Uhh ... None ... really. Which is rare in a world full of bad games.

Overall Review: If you like hack and slash games with attitude and a deep, dark atmosphere, this game is for you.

Pros: Great story, leads up to an even better sequel. They do a great job getting you involved in the character "War" who is one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Cons: No multiplayer

Pros: It's a very good game very easy to play but it is also very challenging,and it has great graphics.
