Pros: Very good ffb fidelity. Pedal feel and action very nice, especially the brake pedal cone-pad option. Lots of buttons to assign. Option of upgrading to different wheel is a nice addition.
Cons: Clamp is a little fiddly to deal with (in short, it flops around until tight and can be a little annoying to get aligned), causing occasional mild frustration if you are limited on space and have to remove the wheel from your desk in order to use PC for non-driving tasks. However this is a mild annoyance at best, and will not keep me from praising this wheel to anybody who asks my opinion :)
Overall Review: I really like this wheel, it is a huge improvement from the 15 year old Logitech MOMO wheel I upgraded from. Installation and setup was a breeze with no problems during the process. My only hiccup so far is that this wheel is so different from the one I have been using (for 15 years..) that I feel like I am learning to drive all over again. Overall I would reccommend this wheel to anybody looking for a racing wheel in the $300-$400 price range.
Pros: the Hybrid system inside this wheel, allows for great response from games like GT6, Assetto Corsa, rFactor2, Live For Speed. its been a long time since ive bought a wheel. the last two wheels ive had were the ThrustMaster MoMo, and the Logitech Driving ForceGT. This wheel surpasses these in feel and motion. the switch it, plug it, play it (PS4,PS3, PC). is a great addition to this fine Product.
Cons: Big Con, for me Is the pedals. Get the T3PA-PRO set.
Overall Review: If you want to Sim, RIGHT. Get the T3PA-PRO Pedal set. But the only games that comes closer to actual real Clutch actuation feel, is rFactor2.The T150 and T3PA-PRO together are superb.
Pros: Unmatched fidelity and strength of force feedback at this price point. Paddle shifters have a good click detent with quality (Omron) switches. Combination belt/gear drive system is considerably quieter than helical gear systems. Sturdy clamp attachment holds wheel base firmly in place. Pedals have hard mounts on their underside. Compatible with PS4/3 & PC. Up to 1080 degrees rotation.
Cons: No hard mounts on wheel base
Overall Review: The pedals are OK considering the price point, but the wheel is the star of this show. Upgrade triple pedals and H-pattern shifter are available. I use this on PC only for titles such as: Assetto Corsa, rFactor 2, RaceRoom, GTR 2, Race '07 and rFactor. I recommend the T150 RS to PC gamers looking for an entry level wheel that can give a satisfying experience, even on hard- core simulators. This would be the perfect solution for PS4/3 console owners wanting to switch from a controller to a wheel.
Pros: - realistic - customization - supports PC and PlayStation 3/4
Cons: - needs an outside power source - can be loud - shakes everything -Pedals are very light
Overall Review: I love this thing, I'm still tweaking things for my games, but I will learn it and adapt to how I want to play. the force is insanely strong and some of my older games, while able to use it, need major tweaks to work properly (looking at you Grip 2 and NFS-Shift 2) With the exception of getting one with a stripped screw and I'm unable to adjust the pedals, and the pedal base is too light, this is an amazing product I would recommend to anyone wanting a more realistic racing experience
Pros: Wanted to get into sim racing without spending 100K. Also wanted to go between PC and PS5. The product has been amazing and has beyond exceeded my expectations. Delivery was super fast and early.
Overall Review: Buy it
Pros: Great force feedback solid construction good button layout decent pedal set design
Cons: there's a lip on the front bottom of the wheel that makes it a little hard to mount on cockpits. It's not too hard to work around but it's a bit of a strange choice.
Overall Review: If you want to get into sim racing at a level about the Logitech G29 but you don't want to go all the way into Fanatec pricing there's no better option than the T300 RS. I love this wheel and will stick with it until I can get into a direct drive setup.
Pros: Wheel was easy to set up and use, had okay force feedback, rather smooth wheel for the price
Cons: Wheel died after a year and a half very loud fan Fan died 10 months after purchase took a month to get my wheel back and working again Fan died again 2 months after the new fan was put in, took another month to get my wheel back up and running
Overall Review: My wheel no longer has force feedback after about 5 minutes of play. I have replaced the fans in this wheel 2x now, and now nothing I do including putting an industrial fan right by my window AC and blowing it directly on my wheel, can stop it from overheating and losing all force feedback. I've requested a replacement wheel from Thrustmaster customer support since I've been having ongoing issues with fans prior to the 1 year warranty, they refused to replace the wheel. I'll never buy another Thrustmaster product again. Only reason this gets 2 eggs rather than 1 is because it's still better than the G29 wheel. Truly a shame Thrustmaster does not stand behind its products.
Pros: I'm not sure that I can give this a fair review since I really only wanted the base and have no intention of using the pedals. Also, I ordered the leather add-on wheel so had no intention of using the stock wheel but when I ran the leather one for a few minutes I really missed the large 320mm custom rim from my modified G27. So, I took apart the stock rim and fit my larger rim on it even though I couldn't really reach the buttons anymore and probably not the paddle shifters but since I run primarily oval and I kept my G27 shifter I can always switch back to the smaller leather wheel when needed for road courses. Ok, with the explanation and disclaimers aside, I can tell you that the force feedback and overall feel of the wheel base is leagues beyond the G27 in comfort, smoothness and ability to recover from a slide due to reverse force (it feels like it's trying to help you counter-steer out of a spin). Don't get me wrong, my G27 has served flawlessly and faithfully for over 5 years now but moving to the T300 is like going from a Chevy Cavalier to a Cadillac. Pros: Smooth Slide assist? Solid base with good clamping Interchangeable wheels
Cons: Small stock wheel No large wheel offerings from TM unless you buy the entire Ferarri Alcantara kit (unless you need the pedals it seemed wasteful)
Overall Review: Overall, I would recommend this to others (and have), especially due to the sale at the time of purchase ($100 off) I only race using iRacing so I can't speak to the effectiveness of the wheel with any other games/sims, but with iRacing it feels fantastic!
