Overall Review: I purchased this based on previous reviews and Newegg placement as a top seller. I'm hoping this will last longer then the smaller netgear that has burnt out a couple times on me.

Overall Review: Coming from a 10 year old adapter which has served my well, I was in need of an upgrade. After initially rummaging through the list of adapters on the Newegg store, this particular unit caught my eye. Offering an affordable price with it's listed specs I decided to bite and buy the unit. Money well spent. This small little dude is a beast, and have seen a tremendous gains in wireless speed which has allowed me to utilize my internet to it's fullest. There is a cost though, this device generates a lot of heat for the performance it delivers. I've had to keep mine under a fan being that I do a lot of gaming and media streaming, otherwise it'll shut down if it gets too hot.

Pros: This USB WiFi adapter has the biggest range of any WiFi device I have used, my PC is in the basement which is set underground and I am picking up signals from houses the next street over. I have been using this for around a week now and I have not had my signal drop or even lag a single time using this. My old WiFi USB adapter would consistently be lagging and it dropped connection multiple times a day, this one is way better.

Cons: For a USB device it takes up a lot of power(worth it) at first when setting this up I plugged it into the front USB hub of my PC which only had one other device plugged into it and it was causing them both to turn off. This was easily fixed by plugging it directly into one of the USB 3.0 ports on the back motherboard IO.

Overall Review: This thing seems to work best when used in tandem with the USB dock it comes with. The cable allows you some freedom of placement if you want to set it higher up or a bit away from your PC. Definitely worth the money.

Pros: - Easy to setup with included disc. If your rig doesn't have an optical drive, a URL is provided in the instructions for downloading appropriate drivers. - Fast. I ran speed tests with this adapter and compared them with numbers using an ethernet cable. to my surprise, while using a 5g connection the download speeds were slightly faster and upload speeds the same. - the antenna works well through walls as I am using it on a floor above my router.

Cons: -None so far

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this adapter to others. It works fast and the included base is handy if you don't want to plug it directly into your desktop or laptop. Note that my results may not be typical if you are not using USB 3.0. My wireless router is also TP Link so that may also affect my exceptional results with this product.

Pros: So far very good. I noticed a faster computer with this adapter.

Cons: I occasionally have a freeze in video but that could be anything other then the adapter and always corrects in seconds.

Overall Review: I do recommend this adapter.
