Pros: Only need one switch per 3-way leg (Installed one in our hallway and the other in our kitchen)
Works Perfect with Google Assistant (Home) no delay other than the normal one sec. network delay All smart devices have.
Installs easily in a one or two gang junction box (If you have a shallow box I could see a tighter fit) but this switch is actually smaller than other smart switches I have installed.
Kasa App is very easy to use (Android phone Oreo v8.0.0), switch connected to our network with no problems (switch connects via 2.4GHz) (App allows you to connect to a Hidden network too fyi)
Cons: None
Overall Review: This product Definitely deserves 4 to 5 stars minimum...
I Highly recommend this 3-way switch.
Tip: If you install one switch per 3-way leg, install the switch in the power gang box, not the load (light). The switch will need constant power.
I usually do not comment on other reviewers but I am lost on why someone would have problems installing this switch in a 3 gang box. There would be plenty of room to push the cables behind the other 2 dumb switches (Unless you are installing 3 of these smart switches)
As for the Alexa issue, I cannot speak for Alexa since I have over a dozen devices (several different brands, Nest, Wemo, Lifx, Smart Things, B-Hyve, to name a few) connected to Google with Zero problems, but I would agree with TP-Link, it is important to keep everything updated. Each of my switches required a firmware update right after install which took less than a minute to update.
