Pros: Extremely long range- this router has clearly better range than the other 100$ brands I have used in the past. Easily covers a 3 story town house with signal never dropping past 4/5 bars in Windows. I searched up the product spec sheet and it turns out the wireless transmit power is the maximum legal power defined by the FCC- so literally any more powerful and this router would be illegal haha. Gigabit ethernet- but make sure you use proper cables and NICs to fully utilize. USB ports means the ability to connect peripherals. Runs cool- many routers I have had have died due to heat eventually baking the capacitors and other internal parts, but this router doesn't have that issue.
Cons: Buggy stock firmware, so upgrade to DD WRT. I have had experience with TP Link routers in the past and many of them have an issue where they lock up after a few days of use- this one is no exception. Even after upgrading to the latest firmware on their site, I would lose wireless after a few days and sometimes even wired connectivity. Rebooting fixes the issue, but should not be a requirement for the router to work. Upgrading to DD WRT fixes the issue, and I have not had the problem at all anymore. The router runs perfectly.
Overall Review: Don't forget to set wireless N properly if you use DD WRT- it does not auto configure so if you don't enter in the right settings (like using WPA with AES encryption which is the only type supported for wireless N), it will work in G mode without telling you.
Pros: I tried one of these out at my house and lover it so I purchased another. Used DD-WRT and have all the options I need for a stable network. Family and friends love the sold connections. Set it up and have not touched it since the first day.
Cons: Nothing. Not a single complaint.
Overall Review: Cannot think of anything.
Pros: 1. Comes with 4-port gigabit LAN & 1 gigabit WAN port.
2. Draft-N WiFi connectivity rated at up to 300 mbps.

4. Comes with WPS security for simplified network security.
5. Built-in anti-DOS Denial-Of-Service capability
6. Included rear USB port which allows for USB-connected network share drive, ftp & file server.
7. 3 external, detachable antennas that allow for upgrades to high-gain/high powered antennas & even greater range & coverage.
8. Green LED status lights. Easier on the eyes than blue LEDs.
9. Nice, easy to understand browser-based user interface for changing router settings.
10. Compact size for a device with so much capability.
11. Lightning-fast speed from both wired & wifi connections without any dropped connections.

14. Newegg comes thr
Cons: Having to see & read the below fraudulent & disingenuous "Horrible Router" review from 5/20/2010. No specifics were provided by this clown as to why they thought this product was bad.
Please note that the "Horrible Router" review was posted by an individual who did not purchase this router from Newegg. This is assuming, of course, that said individual did, in fact, buy this product, & not lying through their teeth.
Overall Review: I have waited a very long time for a WiFi router to come along with these specs & at this price. There is simply nothing else on the market at this price point with the same amount of functionality.
This is coming from someone who has worked with 3 different Belkin, 1 Trendnet, 1 Asus, 1 D-Link, 1 Zonet, 1 Netgear & 2 Linksys routers.
Pros: This router is amazing. I didn't even bother with the factory operating system. I flashed DD-WRT as soon as I got it, and I couldn't be happier. This was an upgrade from a WRT54GL, and let me just say that if you’re even considering this as a similar upgrade, DO IT... Gigabit Lan, I really don't know how I lived without it. Plus a USB network share drive, or ftp server, or whatever else you'd like to do with it. With this I was able to ditch a small file server I had running as well. That’s $50 a month off my PG&E.
This router puts my old Linksys GL router to shame. The GUI, running DD-WRT of course, is lightning fast. There's no noticeable lag or delay whatsoever between page refreshes. At this price, and with all the included features, I really don't ever see myself buying any other router in the foreseeable future. That’s for both myself, and my clients. Bravo TP-LINK…
Cons: Ummm... 5 year warranty? That's just to long. lol... And I guess it made my buddy jealous after a recent GL purchase...
Not a one!!!
Overall Review: If you're even considering this router, BUY IT!!!! You Will NOT be disappointed. There's nothing in this price range that even compares at the time of this review. And I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Pros: 1) easy to set up
2) high speed
3) excellent range
4) no drop outs
5) usb port allows to share external drives over the network.
6) insane 5 years warranty.
Cons: doesn't do breakfast.
Overall Review: I dont usually rate products, but i believe that praise is due when it is earned, and this router has been one of the purchases that i am very happy with.
Pros: Easy setup, great range, awesome speed, and 5 year warranty. dd-wrt compatible is a big plus. It is a bargain purchase for a 3 antenna Gigabit N router.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: TP-Link is the most popular wireless network router brand in China for its price & performance. Hope it holds up to its reputation in US.
Pros: Best Router on New Egg, Hands down the best bang for the buck.
-Good Signal Strength
-Excellent wired connections, great Wire to Wire Transfer speeds over network.
-Full Gigabit ports EVEN WAN, which completely removes all possible bottlenecks.
-Full DD-Wrt compatibility
-Full VPN support
-Network Storage Support
-Network file sharing server support
-Excellent Router all the way around
Cons: It runs a little warm, but it does a lot of work can you blame it?
Would be cool if they made a beefed up model with a small fan, just to increase the life expectancy , not that it matters... at this price you can buy 2 ~ 3 of them and they would guaranteed last you 6 ~ 7 years....
Overall Review: I re-boot the router maybe once every 6 months?
Never crashes, I have never had it crash at a bad time.... it never ever crashed in the middle of a game.... or in the middle of doing something.... I think My PC probably has crashed more times this year than my router ;p....
Pros: Easy to set up and lots of features. The routing portion works well. VoIP via the unit works well.
Cons: Over time, connection drops increase. The unit is unable to support video without stalling. I have 7 wireless connections at home - 2 phones, 2 tablets, 2 computers, and 1 chromecast. I can't work on my work laptop without the connection re-setting constantly. It's bad enough that I'm going to have to ditch it.
I've tried to minimize the number of features that are in use and nothing has really helped at all.
Overall Review: The gradual failing - having to reboot 4x/day in order to just be able to connect to web sites reliably - has turned me off of this brand.
