Working great for two years now!12/8/2011 6:35:42 PM
Pros: Reliable and stable after over two years of use.
Very good price to performance ratio.
Fairly easy setup if you are familiar with routers.
Improved coverage area gave an older wireless-g computer an internet speed boost compared to our single-antenna "150N" type router.
Cons: none considering low price when purchased on sale.
Overall Review: We've enjoyed good connectivity with this router for both wired and wireless connections around our house. We have Netflix and a MagicJack internet phone device running on a wireless connection in another room and they work fine. The only glitch (and it's not the router's fault) is we lose wireless connectivity on one computer when we walk back and forth in front of it. To overcome that we installed a pair of Netgear 500Mbps powerline adapters, and they work great wired to this Trendnet router. So, overall a darn good little router for wired, wireless, and powerline home networking. Another review mentioned that some of his computers did not show up in a list on the router config. pages. I would point out that they only show up if they are connected and booted up and running in Windows; any computer in Sleep mode or Standby, etc. will not show up!
Pros: Stability,
I haven't had to reset the router since I plugged it in for the first time.
Speed,
My wired speeds are limited by the read/write speeds of my HDDs and the wireless speeds are great too.
Price,
Gigabit and Draft N (2) for under $90 when I got it. Plus its a brand new model so it will just be getting better with updates.
stays cool, pleasant to look at, can do all kinds of stuff which im sure I will never need.
Cons: The range on wifi is good, but the speed drops quickly the farther you go. I get about 11 MB/s when next to it, ~2.5 MB/s when about 12 yrds away and 3 walls across. Still get full bars nonetheless.
Overall Review: I was debating between the 633 model from trendnet and this one, went with the new model, only a 5 dollar difference at the time of purchase. So Far so Good, I will write an update if anything fails. Almost 4 days runing without a reset and counting.

Great product - excellent value1/12/2010 6:18:11 AM
Pros: Easy to setup, not a glitch in signal for 4 days, strong signals to other network pcs (150 to older laptop, 300 to HTPC in another room). Works fine with both n and g connections. Came with latest firmware. Just works perfectly. Good tech support (24/7 toll free).
Cons: Instructions and firmware menu could be more explicit, especially regarding the newer security features.
Overall Review: When setting up, connected to modem with no problem, but could not get connection to internet (even though my MagicJack worked for phone calls through router/modem). Tried all the normal troubleshooting including the reset to no avail. Called Tech support on a Sunday morning, got through right away and found out the reset had to be held in for 30 seconds (not in any instructions or online manual). Once that was done and settings rechecked, I was in business.
Pros: Good value for the router.
Wireless speed over N is good. I was getting about 11 Megabyte/s real-world transfers.
Setup was easy, and the interface is simple to use (although port forwarding is not called such)
The router runs relatively cool.
Cons: This does feature gigabit Ethernet, but it is a HUB, not a switch. Depending on your usage this may not be acceptable.
I also had some issues with the router losing connection and requiring a reboot during very high wireless utilization. This happened after 5-10 minutes of usage when consecutively transferring upstream and downstream, and is repeatable.
With the settings set to keep-alive, I needed to reboot the router several times in the month I had it to regain internet connectivity.
Overall Review: There is a firmware upgrade for this, but it did not solve any of the above issues.

LAN Port Starvation9/2/2009 12:00:28 AM
Pros: Wireless seems to work fine.
Cons: When 3 devices are attached to the LAN ports, heavy traffic between 2 ports starves the third port.
This behavorial was not observed with my 5+ years old wireless router and a ten bucks wired router.
Overall Review: I opened up a ticket with Trendnet. Let's see what they have to say. Note that all the high rankings for the wireless capability of this router are probably well deserved. However, I need to have the wired ports working since I need them to connect to my servers. If this issue is not resolved within a week, this router will probably become an open-boxed item on this website. :)
Cons: Does not work adequately in b/g/n or n only mode.
I tested it in the same room with the receiving computer in a basement with very little radio interference. Under the firmware it came with, would connect in n, and would stay connected as long as traffic was intermittent. When transfering files, would consistently disconnect in about 60 seconds.
Under firmware v1.0.9.161, will not connect in n mode or a/b/n mode at all.
Overall Review: Pay about 2/3 less for the b/g router or try a different n router.
Gigabit ports are not switched. (Pretty dumb -- better off with a switched 10/100 if you are connecting to more than 1 ethernet port.)
WAN port is not gigabit (should rarely be a problem).
Cons: Does it's job as described only after a firmware upgrade from the mftr website. This should be one of the first things you do unless you want to be frustrated with lost signals and iffy range.
Cons: Little too light - sometimes the router gets pulled off the table by weight of the cables.
Overall Review: This replaced my D-Link router which I had to reset couple of times a week. The router gets me through several weeks of heavy traffic (Internet and peer to peer) before requiring reset. I have excellent signal all around 2000 SQ/ft split level house.
