Vantech's Tornado TD8038H 80mm black case fan is a powerful cooling solution for today's desktop computers. The dual ball-bearing design extends the life span of the fan and keeps it spinning at 5,700rpm. It easily installs in a wide variety of desktop cases and yet is capable of pushing more than three times the air than a standard 80mm case fan—whether it's used to pull cool air into your system or push hot air out.

The fan can connect to your motherboard's standard 3-pin fan connector for power or the optional 4-pin cable allows you to connect this fan to your power supply. Perfect for gamers and overclockers, the Vantec Tornado Case Fan is a no-compromise solution to overheated computer woes.

  • newegg High Performance Operating at 5700 RPM, this 80mm fan delivers an air flow of up to 84.1 CFM for near peerless heat dissipation!
  • newegg Custom-Made Cable for Fan RPM Detection With the custom-made fan RPM detection cable, monitor fan spindle speeds in the motherboard BIOS and system health software.

Best case fans ever I have owned several and they really move the air flow. 4/29/2016 8:58:08 AM

Pros: Keeps your PC cool with amazing air flow.

Cons: A bit loud so it's best to get a fan controller panel for when you want to skype or answer the phone.

Overall Review: I would absolutely recommend this fan to anyone.

Big fan 2/20/2016 12:25:52 PM

Pros: Moves a lot of air, verified compatible with a NZXT SEN-MIX2 Sentry Mix 2 Fan Controller to run at low speeds (where it's nicely quiet)
This seems to put up with grilles / filters in front better than other high-velocity fans.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: N/A

jet engine 12/23/2015 10:52:36 PM

Pros: Moves a lot of air! Blew the papers off my desk on startup.

Cons: Jet engine! I had to bolt my tower to the desk.
Loud at max, unfortunately my mobo won't allow me to adjust the speed. Super cool, extra loud!

Overall Review: Great if you can keep it away from ear level.
Not sure how quiet it is at slower speeds, at max it's almost intolerable!

SUPERFAN!!! 9/15/2015 4:22:03 PM

Pros: moves air beyond belief !! my rig stays between 15 to 20 degrees cooler on idle for extended periods of time. i have an older custom system in a HP 6000 case. i use this fan on my stock heatsink with a 125W amd quad core. my case fan is the 92mm one. absolutely no complaints about my cooling. system temp. at 27C and CPU temp. at 32C.kudos for that!!!!!

Cons: noisy fans. about half as loud as a vacuum cleaner. and thats because i have 2 of them thats the price you pay for great cooling. its not vantec's fault for the that. sometimes you have to make sacrifices for quality cooling. if you like a quiet computer, this fan is not for you.

Overall Review: i am getting a speed controller to turn up or down at my choosing. sometimes they do get on my nerves being noisy.

LOUD,FAST AND AWESOME 2/10/2015 2:26:25 AM

Pros: Bought 3 of these fans! Yes they are super loud but anyone that thinks that fans that run off 1 amp, pull 15 watts, and push 119 cfm in a 92 mm size and are as loud as 56.4 dBa (decibels) are going to be quiet they are very mistaken!!!

-Keeps my old 2005 computer running at 83 on idle and 104 under full load with ambient temperature at 77 degrees in the old den/computer room!

-I have three of these! The First one is on my wife's Compaq's CPU Cooler (Cooler Master Vortex Low Profile 92mm Heatsink) Overkill for that heatsink but keeps her cpu at 85 idle and 102 at full load!

-I have the other Two on my cooler master hyper tx3 92 mm tower heatsink.Running push pull configuration (one on the front to push air in, the one on the back to pull air out) had to changed the included screws on my heatsink to get it to fit but it did after some modding (Used an old original xbox's screws).

-Once again loud and pushes massive amounts of air but I like the fan noise it tells me my computer is staying cool and is on! DEFINITELY NOT A "FAN" OF QUIET FANS!! I would rather have noise and less heat and silence and a hot running cpu! Oh and I can't afford liquid cooling otherwise I would go that route!

Cons: They are listed as running at 4800 RPM's but actually run at 4800-5300 RPMs Depending on the motherboard they are hooked up to my wife's compaq keeps at 4800 RPM's.However my computer keeps it at 5300 RPM's

um Had to modify it to fit my cooler master hyper tx3 92 mm cpu cooler but that wasn't the fans fault! Nor neweggs they were awesome as usual! Vantec Tornados normally don't fit the hyper tx3 cpu cooler!

Overall Review: These fans spin at 4800-5300 RPM's depending on the motherboard they are hooked up to my wife's compaq keeps at 4800 RPM's. However my computer's Motherboard keeps it at 5300 RPM's
