VANTEC VDK-80 80MM Fan Vibration Dampener Kits

Pros: low price. Brought my 80mm fans down slightly. no vibration

Cons: Like I read somewhere before - take your fans off your case and turn them on high, this is generally how they will sound plus alittle air noise from air escaping. They taste funny.

Overall Review: You could probably make your own... The concept isn't too hard to grasp.

Pros: Inexpensive, and they work better then any other fan vibration damper I have used. You get two in a package.

Cons: Looks like Newegg is phasing out these kind of items. Will have to look elsewhere.

Overall Review: I have used these now in four computer builds. They really do help dampen any noise from fan vibration against the case.

Pros: Easy to install. Has two dampener kits per package.

Cons: Negligible noise difference.

Overall Review: Can't say if its worth it. Just get a quiter fan.

Pros: They work ok & the price was good.

Cons: Didn't come with Beer.

Pros: Great Kit. Was actually able to to two PCs with the included supplies. Very happy with the purchase, as it DID make a difference in vibration and noise, but not a lot. It is noticable though.

Cons: None. simple to use, simple to install. Fit my fans perfectly.

Overall Review: It cooks up a mean ham and cheese omelet. Well ,not really.

Pros: Comes 2 to a pack, which I was unaware of. Also came with silicon washers. Decreases a minor amount of noise.

Cons: However, if you're wanting to go for a completely silent system, this product should be used in conjunction with fan controllers and lower noise rated fans. They're decent for the price, but are not the perfect solution.

Overall Review: I bought these just to try'em out. My build is not a silent build, nor was it ever intended to be. However, it's not excessively loud, either. I figured I'd try them to see how they fared. I'll probably buy more to outfit any more computers I do, but if you're wanting silence, planning is your friend.

Pros: Got rid of the low buzz caused by my fans. The price seams pretty fair as well.

Cons: None I can think of.

Pros: As soon as I put the fan dampeners in I could hear a difference. I can barely see them, but they do their job.

Cons: The washers didn't really work well and were difficult to install, but some of that has to do with my case. They were a bonus anyway, so no big deal.
