Well, that depends on what type of data you want to burn on the disk. The storage capacity of a single disk is 4.7 Giga Bytes (GBs), which is enough to fit 2 hours of video in the Standard record mode (good quality video - no compression). Most DVD recorders have the ability to change record speeds, for example: 1hr mode, 2hr mode, 4hr mode, and so on. Just remember, the longer the record time, you will see a reduction in video quality. If you wish to burn music files to the DVD (or text files), you will be able to store "a ton" of them on a single disk as they are very small files to start with; especially when compared to video files. A standard CD (Compact Disk) can only hold up to 700 Mega-Bytes (MBs) of data,  where as a DVD can hold the aforementioned 4.7 Giga Bytes of data...hope this helps..

Yes, but, you need to go to the folder where the songs are actually stored. I tune is a prog  for playing and organizing media for your convenience, but the actual media files are stored in a specific folder. From that folder you can burn them directly to DVDs.
