Pros: I have bought and burned thousands of discs over the years and have never found an opportunity to blame the media I was using for bad burn I have always been able to trace it down to hardware issues software issues or human error. I am very happy with Verbatim discs as they normally on sale for good price and free shipping when I need more then I can stock up. And now that the price is no longer $1 a disc I am even happier

Pros: I bought the 50 packs becuase save about $5 or $6 over buying the 100 pack no idea why newegg not give bulk discount. I have never had a bad verbatim disc in over 10 years of buying them free shipping rocks

Overall Review: For those who are "CD-philes" and know what C1 and C2 error rates mean, then you know that most "brand name" media are actually re-labelled from OEM manufacturers. The most highly regarded is Taiyo Yuden as they consistently use high-quality dyes with low error rates on writing CD-Rs. I just purchased this item, and I can tell you that these CD-Rs are made from Moser Baer India after reading the manufacturer ID (ATIR) embedding on the discs.

Pros: I am on my third 100 pack of these. Free shipping. Friends say the discs work in their home players and cars.

Cons: Burning at MAX speed (48x) may result in bad disc (Lite-On 20A1H)

Overall Review: I have found it's better to burn at a slower speed than maximum to ensure a good burn every time. But if you really need that fast burn chances are it will work fine. I think it's more of an issue with my drive than the discs.

Pros: Excellent CDs. Second only to Taiyo Yuden.

Pros: I've always used Vebatim and TDK (tried other brands, high percentage of coasters. one in particular, starts with the letter M, almost the same name for the cheap coffee), started using TDK for CD-R only after a while. But, I have also used Verbatim before and NEVER had problems. So I trust the brand, plus can't beat the $x rebate, so the 100 pk spindle is only $xx. I also just bought 2 100 pk spindles of Verbatim DVD+R from newegg, not a single coaster.
