Verbatim 4.7GB 8X DVD-R 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 94985

Comments: These are top quality MCC discs. Just finished the last disc in the spindle. Not one coaster, most burned at greater than 8x avg. All were software verified, and about 10 have been played all the way through on my PS2 with no problems (all 100 are movie dvd's). The spindle came damaged however, plastic cover and base are cracked and won't lock together. It was packaged very well by newegg, it was probably very abused during shipping. Comments: This the worst dvd-r I've ever purchased. 20 out of 100 dvd-r discs have problems easily identifiable by looking at the back of the disc. Well, of the 20 bad discs, 3-4 have some bad scratches. The rest are even worse - there is seperation between the two layers of DVD disc. The bottom protective layer can easily be separated from the top layer. These discs are useless. Worst of all, I was trying to get an RMA to return/replace it but newegg.com does not allow return/exchange of CD/DVD/RW media. Bummer!

Pros: You can record on them and they are cheap.

Cons: Haven't found any.First 10 DVD's work great.

Overall Review: New Egg Rocks!!!!

Pros: These dvds have a sturdy solid feel to them and there are no visible color variations in the dye. The price is great too.

Overall Review: I've only had two coasters, and both of those were the cheap software's fault i was using. Don't use "Burn4free!"

Pros: The media code for these is MCC 02 & no problems @ 8X. I did overburn @ 12X with Lite-On SHM-165H6S(this was another value purchase @Newegg) without incident. Also BenQ Suite 2.1 showed TE/FE within range.

Cons: Newegg's out the door was superb, but UPS was problematic. Twice in one day:PACKAGE WAS MISSORTED AT THE HUB. IT HAS BEEN REROUTED TO THE CORRECT DESTINATION SITE. Still I received it in 2 days.. Not bad!!

Overall Review: I bought for smaller: 2 to 3 gb files, so a slower(8X) speed is isn't so critical, as they will take less time.

Pros: The write quality is always wonderful, very few coasters since I began using them. I've gone through three 100 packs and still love them.

Cons: For archiving, they don't hold sharpie marker as good as the CDRW brand I buy or perhaps other DVD media. That's the only con I can think of!

Overall Review: Again, as always, FANTASTIC service from Newegg. The product arrived very much intact and got here FAST. Newegg is in a class of their own!

Pros: Works really good with my NEC ND-3520A. Burned about 20 disks, no errors at all.

Overall Review: VERBATIMis an excellent brand for DVD media.

Pros: Verbatim really does record data verbatim. Already used all 100 disks, play in all the dvd players I have tried them on, works with several cd burners. The rebate came very quickly.
