Question 1

First time I have looked at one of these. My monitors do not not have the holes in the back, do I just screw into the back of the monitors? Or am I needing a different set up?

Accepted Answer

Under no circumstance should you try to mount this if your monitors do not have mounting capabilities. If there's no place to remove a protective cap or rubber grommet in the back of your monitor, then it is not capable of being mounted. Sometimes, the factory stand that comes w/ it actually connects to where this stand would mount, but that's less and less common. I would refer to the manufacturer specifications to make sure. Otherwise, these stands are very nice and I use them regularly for our office. Good luck!

Question 2

I purchased this mount for my dual monitors, but it is too top heavy and falls forward. The monitors are smaller than 32". Is there an anchor that needs to be purchased with this?

Accepted Answer

I don't think there is an anchor as an option for this model. Of course you could fabricate something using a clamp on the back edge or drill through the base and mounting surface. I find it to be very stable with two 24 inch monitors. Obviously the first thing you would do is adjust the monitors back as far as possible so they are over the base and not extended forward.

Question 3

what is the model #? Is it STAND-V102K?

Accepted Answer

Though that seems to be the new version, yes. The base shape looks to have changed, other than that the specs are identical. Hope that helps!

Question 4

What is the weight of this item?

Accepted Answer

Shipped weight is 11.5 to 12lbs.
