Pros: The benchmarks don't lie--anandtech dot com & tomshardware indicate this Raptor is one of the absolute fastest drives out there to consumers. If speed is what you need, this drive is it (and I'm a long-time Seagate fan).
Cons: Only real drawback is the noise. As another reviewer notes, the windowed version (the one I have) generates significantly more noise than the non-windowed version. I have had five other Seagate & Hitachi(IBM) hard drives in my Lian Li case for quite some time & this is the only hard drive I hear chunking away (above & beyond my ~7 case fans & CPU fan).
Overall Review: The pros vastly outweigh the cons. If performance is what you need, pick up this drive.
