The Accelero Xtreme III offers superior cooling performance in silence for the fastest single GPU and a wide-range of graphic cards. With its superior performance, this cooler definitely satisfies all overclockers and enthusiasts who enjoy powerful graphic cards.

  • newegg Superior Cooling Performance Featuring three 92mm PWM fans with a maximum cooling capacity up to 300 Watts, the Accelero Xtreme III manages to transfer heat efficiently away from the GPU. Besides the 84-fin heatsink with 5 copper heatpipes, the pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound accelerates the heat dissipation process to ensure the VGA board is running under optimal temperature.
  • newegg Enhanced RAM and VR Cooling The Accelero Xtreme III comes with 31 RAM and VR heatsinks to cool your RAM and VR. This included thermal adhesive lowers RAM and VR temperature significantly and assures proper bond.
  • newegg Virtually-Silent With three PWM-controlled 92 mm fans, the Accelero Xtreme III cools efficiently and silently. Thanks to the PWM control, the fan spins according to the temperature of the GPU. This means that the fans just spin up if necessary and will rest at minimum speed otherwise. PWM settings can be modified to fix the priorities between performance and noise.
  • newegg Multi-Compatible Aside from it being CrossFire and SLI compatible, the Accelero Xtreme III comes with a versatile and interchangeable mounting mechanism along with 31 RAM and VR heatsinks to fit different models. New accessory sets will be available to make the VGA cooler compatible with future models.

Works on 2060 KO 5/19/2020 7:39:59 PM

Pros: Works on evga 2060 ko, installs ok, bracket that mounts to the base of the cooler will block about 1/2 of the top and bottom memory chips but there is a small heatsink that still be applied to the rest of the memory chip. Chip bracket will take some trial and error to get the fit right, screw holes will not be symmetrical but will line up to secure the cooler. Clean the cpu and do test fits. Memory on the top memory chips will have a heatsink height restriction due to the base of the main cooler, one of the small thin heatsinks will work. For an idea on what this will look like google search accelero and a 5700xt to see. This will give you an idea of what the bracket will overlap memory. I reused some of the included heat pads, cut them in half and placed between the chip and the baseplate. The other half has a heatsink secure by the included glue.
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut - GPU Die
Included Thermal Glue
Heatsink configuration
VRM alphacool 6.5x6.5mm
Memory alphacool 10x10mm
Bottom memory I removed 3 fins to not interfere with main cooler base plate.
Top memory, 2x included short heatsinks included with accelero
Rear memory chips full heatsinks
Temp Before - 1440p gaming 59-69C temps
Temp After - 1440p gaming 49C temps
Memory temps with heat sinks read about 100F with IR thermometer.

Overall Review: Recommended
can be made to work with 2060 ko

evga 1080 SC icx 5/16/2020 9:21:16 PM

Overall Review: I bought this to replace the broken stock cooler on my evga 1080 supercooler icx blah blah blah card. The number one thing i want to stress in this review is DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU AREN'T VERY COMFORTABLE WITH DISASSEMBLING THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN MEANT TO GET INTO.

That being said, the process of getting my video card pulled apart and installing the individual heat sinks on the memory went well. The instructions on the companies website are fairly straight forward if you are half way decent at following instructions and reading. Working on a 1080 that was worth around 700 and that i didnt want to lose made it a stressful repair but even with that it was still rather easy.

As for performance, it cools very well. Under max overclock settings for my card before i get instabilities i top out at 72degrees C under full load and that's just the power and memory temps, the gpu max temp under full load is around 62.

It does idle at higher temps then it did with the stock cooling, stock cooling idle temps were anywhere from 28-35 while with the after market cooler they are now 35-40 but no big deal.

I do have a pretty aggressive fan curve set but even at the stable 72degrees under full load i am only running the fans 80%.

Overall very happy with this product, in addition to saving a otherwise busted video card, it is also a nice upgrade in cooling.

Works great once you get it on 4/30/2020 8:58:55 AM

Pros: -Core temps went from 95+ to 61 under load
-Very quiet
-Lots of heatsinks

Cons: -It's huge. A few inches longer than the stock cooler. Had to cut out part of my case (the 3.5in bays)
-Instructions are pretty general, so hard to know if you're installing it right for your specific board

Overall Review: Installed on an MSI R9 290. During the hours it took me to install this cooler, I cursed it endlessly. It is designed to work with many different cards, but as a result it is a bit of a process to install it. The main cooler that goes on the GPU is actually straightforward and went smoothly (though the directions could use a bit more clarity).

The heatsinks that go on other components are more difficult to figure out. The memory modules are easy to pick out, but getting the heatsinks on the VRMs is very tricky. On my board, the VRM1 modules have circuit components between them that are taller than the VRMs. The instructions say that the heatsinks shouldn't touch these components, so I couldn't use the longer heatsinks to cover multiple VRM1 modules. In the end, this left me without enough small heatsinks and I ended up needing to cut up some of the bigger ones with a dremel.

In the end, I got all the heatsinks pasted on and started the thing up only to find it wouldn't fit in my case (too long -- ran into the 3.5in bay). Needed to whip out the dremel again and remove part of the case.

Finally, I booted up. One look at the temps and all my frustration melted away. This thing cools SO MUCH BETTER than my stock cooler. Now that I know what I'm doing, installation would have been much easier. That said, if I'd known how hot the R9s run, I probably would have just paid for a more expensive card without the heat problems instead of getting this cooler after the fact.

Ugly but gets the job done on blower 5700xt 9/6/2019 1:07:05 PM

Overall Review: Slapped this on a blower style 5700xt because the blower cooling is awful. Now it's temps and noise are in line with the best from the AIB models. Ugly as heck though.

Great replacement for stock coolers! 2/25/2019 3:05:06 PM

Pros: Replaced the cooler that was on my Zotac 1070ti with this, went from loading as high as 77cel to now hitting 49cel on a full load .If you follow the instructions carefully its not that hard to install honestly.See cons as to why i am loading at 49cel.

Cons: I installed this and on the first boot i immediately notice one fan refusing to work, messed about with msi ab which did nothing to get it working.I removed the shroud to check wiring and all looked ok.Not to long later a second fan refused to work and well in frustration i used the included molex adapter to no avail.Removed the shroud and decided to zip tie 2 120mm fans that each spin at 1500rpm and well it works beyond well.

Knocking a egg for the stock fans failing as such.

Overall Review: i could recommend this, they should include clips so you can just snap on 80-120mm fans like other heatsinks do.I honestly would recommend anyone hard core enough to install this just to zip tie some 120mm fans on this bad boy. From what i see most people are loading about 53-57cel or so on 1070ti-1080ti type cards with this coolers stock fans on a max rpm.

Good option for sprucing up a card with dead a dead fan 2/23/2019 9:20:44 AM

Pros: - Better than the stock reference fan
- Silent, no coil whine at all
- Easy to install on a reference gtx 1070

Cons: - Card feels a little bit unsupported at the rear, whereas the stock shroud gave what felt like more structural integrity. But I guess its not like you are handling the thing all that often
- Bulky

Great GPU cooler. 2/12/2019 5:35:08 AM

Pros: I have a MSI Armor GTX 1080 TI. I was regularly hitting 83-84 degrees Celsius. The Arctic Accelero III dropped my temps significantly. Now my temps never go above 56-57 degrees Celsius. I only installed the little aluminum heat sinks on the 4 of the 9 ram modules. The rest of the card had a metal plate that helped to reinforce the card and act like a heat sink. For some reason the heat sinks were to tall to fit on the other components. But it did not matter. A Lot of the other GPU coolers just blow air on the ram and voltage regulators. The Arctic also blows air on the ram and voltage regulators. Take your time and lay everything out and make sure you use the plastic spacers on both sides of your graphics card. One set of spacers will go on the back plate and the other will go on the GPU cooler itself. Very happy with my purchase. Would purchase again. Also Fast shipping.

Cons: -Its a little tricky installing this GPU cooler if you have never done it before.
-Heat sinks were to tall and most were to big. If you don't have a metal plate or heat sinks already installed on your GPU you may need to order some or grind the ones that come with Arctic down some.

Overall Review: -Would recommend to others.

Over 20 deg cooler than stock. 12/26/2018 12:03:09 PM

Pros: Over 20 deg cooler than stock on Asus GTX 1080 Turbo.

Cons: Pain to install.

Overall Review: Used Noctua fans in a push pull in my small ITX build to keep temps down, instead of the Arctic fans.
