XFX GeForce 6200 DirectX 9 PVT44AWANG 256MB 64-Bit GDDR2 AGP 8X Video Card

Pros: small, somewhat overclockable, makes my small form-factor dell at my office think it's a gaming machine

Cons: not pipe-expandable like some other 6200 cards (more fyi, than con...)

Overall Review: Note that this card uses the 44 chipset and not the 43, making it the "TurboCache" model. Some 6200 cards use the same 43 chip as in the 6600 which means that they can be overclocked to open up to the same number as pipes as the 6600 (i.e. it's really a 6600 in disguise). However, this card is NOT one of these as it sports the newer, 44 chipset. It can be overclocked, but the number of pipes can't be increased.

Pros: Card works like a charm for dual monitor setup. I have a Intel 2.53 processor with a gig of ram and this card is outputting to two samsung syncmaster 940B monitors which are 19" I would recommend getting program called UltraMon (search google) if your going for a dual monitor setup as it adds some awesome functions.

Cons: I wish it had two DVI ports but I cant tell the difference between the vga and dvi (yet) so if your worried about that don't be.

Overall Review: Ordered on Sunday night was shipped from TN got to OK on Friday afternoon. Not the fastest shipping from newegg this time but I still love newegg!

Pros: Works fine under Windows XP, no fan to seize up and burn out card.

Cons: Not compatible with Linux (Mythbuntu 8.10 & 8.04 tried), XFX's website requires you to create an account AND register your card before granting ANY access to support resources.

Overall Review: Bought the card for a Linux system I'm building (Mythbuntu 8.10), but it doesn't work when the proprietary NVidia Linux drivers are installed...computer crashes with a black screen. A different NVidia card worked great, so it's something specific to this card. Also, having to create an account AND register a card to gain access to XFX's support resources for the card is bogus...seems like a way to extort paying users for personal info that XFX can sell to "interested parties".

Pros: Its a good overall card. Gave nothing less then what I expected performance wise. It benchmarked good and runs some of my games (such as WoW) at my monitors native 1680x1050 resolution with a decent fps. After getting a samsung syncmaster T220, I needed a new-ish graphics card to replace my old ati radeon and this Geforce 6200 did the job on a tight budget.

Cons: Note that this chipset is technically a bad chipset, and this card can not be overclocked by much.

Overall Review: Shipment was a few days late, it was supposed to arrive on christmas eve. However this is attributed to weather related issues (south-island got 3 feet of snow x.x) and the shipping was free so I don't got much to complain about.

Pros: Works Good! Doesn't get too warm.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Upgraded my ATI 9550 which was failing me. This works much better. Looks better.

Pros: Works like a charm. Bought for dual-head support and it does the job just great. Put in a Dell GX270 and it runs just fine on Vista Enterprise. Not used for gaming, just multiple displays in an office environment.

Pros: i bought this because i needed a dvi connection to hook up a new monitor to an older computer. runs fine on my older mobo at 4x agp with my 800 mhz amd processor. installs quick and easy with drivers from the nvidia website. runs my 22" monitor at native res 1680x050 easily. good for basic surfing and media but the rest of my system prevents me from doing any real gaming anymore.

Overall Review: good deal on a decent card for my purposes. if you spend a little more money, you can get a better gaming card in the 7600gt series. product was delivered in 24 hours. love newegg!

Pros: The best feature about this card is the performance to dollar ratio. I just upgraded my mx440-128Mb card to this because I couldn't play Oblivion-Elder Scrolls. While this card barely makes it, it does allow for gameplay (sometimes choppy, but not too bad). No fan = no noise. Installed very easy if you follow the directions (the first "no instructions" attemp led to a blank screen, but low-and -behold, the instructions are right! Follow them.)

Cons: This thing runs hot in my machine. About 44c standing and up to 58c full load, I'm starting to think that a fan might have been a good idea. Not for super serious gamers--just casual gamers. It will handle most games at lower rez, but don't expect frame rates beyond 30 in most. The number of pipes/shaders at 128 bit will never harness the full 256Mb of onboard DDR2 ram. Don't let that number fool you into thinking it will be faster than a 128Mb verison of 6200.

Overall Review: New Egg is fast. I got my package in roughly 23 hours from the time I pressed the mouse button on my online order. This is the second order that has come next day, with the standard "three day" shipping.
