Pros: very fast. HUGE improvement over my old 8800gts. 256 bit GDDR5 is really nice. MW2, L4D2 all high settings 60fps+. WEI score is 7.5 (7.9) i know my C2D is a bottleneck but this card still performs! i have not had any problems with the drivers (10.2) on win 7 x64. lifetime warranty is a great value, i dont care if this card cost an extra $15.

Cons: gets very hot. i know its normal for this card to get hot but i have good airflow in my case and the card has overheated and BSOD twice already(after about an hour of gaming). also no heatsinks on the ram. should probably get aftermarket vga cooler for this card. tight fit in my cooler master mid tower. had to rearrange the hard drives a bit to get it to fit.

Overall Review: very good value just make sure you can cool the card down properly. C2D E2180 oc'ed @ 3.0Ghz, 6Gb DDR2, Thermaltake 550W psu.

Pros: Decent price. Faster than expected!

Cons: This particular card runs very hot! (4870's in general) So cool case airflow is important.

Overall Review: When i purchased this card i wasn't sure which version fan was going to come with it, as i have seen the one pictured and a full length fan typical with reference design. Purchased this at the end of Feb and it comes with the fan pictured (smaller heatsink with heat pipes) No heatsinks on the ram. Enthusiats might opt for a third party cooler. Saying that though, the card runs pretty hot and can dump alot of heat inside the case. Performance wise though, I was impressed, teamed up with AMD Phenom II x4 955 with everything at stock clocks, it burns through everything I have thrown at it. (Modern Warfare 2, Mass Effect 2, Grid, Dirt 2, Dragon Age. Set Resolution to max, settings to max. 8x FSAA and 16xMSAA.. your good to go! Very Nice!

Pros: Runs smooth, a good upgrade from my 8800 GTS. I'm running a single card, not CF'd. Bioshock 2 maxed out detail at 1680x1050, bloom and lighting, with 4xAA, 4xAF, AAA 'Quality'. Not a stutter, even when the flames and bullets are flying. Water and fire effects are BEAUTIFUL and super crisp. Fan is too low to hear over my hard drive coolers unless I bump it up manually.

Cons: Does get a bit hot, but not what I'd call excessive or troubling. Since it takes up two slots of room with that huge fan on the side anyway, I really wish it vented out of the case instead of inside. It tends to bump up my ambient case temp when I'm playing by quite a bit. Kinda big. As in bigger than my 8800 by about half an inch. That's why I always use a full size case. ATI's overclocking tools, esp. Auto-Tune, are a joke. Get real overclocking tools.

Overall Review: Make sure you have DUAL six pin connectors. If that's in the specs anywhere, I missed it... Didn't overclock at all. Seems to be cranked to the bleeding edge right from the factory. Tried a modest 20mhz GPU / 50mhz MEM overclock, and it picked up issues in under 20 mins game time, every time. Cranked back to defaults and it's been going along without a hitch ever since. People complaining about heat have no clue what they're talking about, or have poor case venting. My case temp runs what I would consider high, 36 or so ambient. Reason for that is my case is crammed back in a cabinet, bad ventilation. Card idles high 40's to low 50's. In game max is eighties, maybe 90 TOPS and that's with the fan on factory settings, which never seems to bump it above 25% or so. If I manually run up the fan, it does get a little loud, but easily maintains high 60's. That is NOTHING for a graphics card. Modern cards can handle sustained temps in the 90's or 100's on the core easy.

Pros: Ive pushed this card to 850mhz/1111mhz,with riva tuner. It lasted for about 4 hours but hey those are nearly the speeds of a new 5870 :) I can run it with out a problem at 820/1060 using a ZALMAN VF1000 2 Ball VGA Cooler. XFX does put it's money where it's mouth is and as always builds products that outlast the competition.

Cons: As we all know the standard cooling system that it comes with simply sucks! Do you're self a favor and get the Zalman VGA cooler and watch you're temperature problems slowly start to freeze. :) When I first bought this I had the impression that it was a single slot card but it's not. My temps when I first got this product were 65c idle and near 100c under load. That was unacceptable, now its at 38 idle and never over 65c under load.

Pros: Able to run almost any game at a moderately high setting, comes with a crossfire cable and a DVI-D to VGA converter, uses one PCI slot.

Cons: This model does not exhaust the hot air out of a PCI slot cover, nor does it have RAMsinks. Not DX11 compatible.

Overall Review: With the 5000 series rolling out, these cards will continue to drop in price. Should hold it's own for a while to come.

Pros: Bought this card for the nextgen gaming without breaking my wallet. So far it runs perfectly. Able to hit 80+ fps at times during futuremark gpu tests. Currently playing Champions online (very graphic intensive) at max settings with 8x AA with no hiccups at all, looks beautiful. A big card, but still smaller than those big old gtx 285's

Cons: None really. I'll say this, it DOES get hot under load, only one or two times hitting 70c, but it averages at 60c for me. (Also, I'm only using 3 x 120mm fans and 1 x 200m, when in reality I have room and am going to install two more 120mm) Idle though, it's currently sitting at 45c with all fans on auto (don't turn on unless under stress). I'm assuming the guys doing the other reviews don't have central air and an antec 900.

Overall Review: Fits perfectly in my antec 900, ample room to use the extra GPU fan slot it comes with.

Pros: The card is a very good graphics card. It does everything I've asked of it and at high to max settings on my games and programs. Huge heatsink and fan.

Cons: This thing runs HOT! I don't mean a warm day in spring hot... I mean a high noon HOT day in Death Valley. Make certain you have excellent venting in your case. I had a great airflow before I got this car. Since then, I've added 2 more fans and upgraded 2 more to 120mm size.

Overall Review: XFX is the only thing I've been disappointed by. Bought this card and had hoped to get my refund but got a rejection letter from XFX saying I didn't provide a photocopy of my sales invoice. Really? I sent a copy of EVERYTHING I got in the box from NewEgg plus cut my box to send in my UPC. All for nothing. XFX will never get anymore of my business.

Pros: I was debating whether or not to go all out for a 5870, or hold off for a bit. I decided on this (on sale + MIR = great value!) With my new i7 920 rig, this plays Crysis at 1920x1200 on High around 30 fps. Older games such as Half-Life 2/Counter Strike Source rarely drop below 200 fps when maxed out!

Cons: Can't complain at all for the price!
