Pros: Great card, really powerful, it runs all my games on max settings. It idles at about 36C. It came well packed it its box and had easy to read instructions (not that I needed them). I finally made the switch to Ati, the last Ati card I used was a x1650. Very impressed with this card.

Cons: It doesn't make me sandwiches.

Overall Review: The only thing that bothers me with this card is until windows starts, it mirrors the screens on both my monitors, Not big enough to be a con anyways. This replaced my 8800 gts and the performance jump was enormous. But now my core2 it bottle-necking it until i can get a new i5 or i7 :|

Pros: Very fast GPU,maxes out WW2,BC2 and it runs very cool with a fan speed of 35%(Dead silent)...33C idle and up to 50-52C while gaming with the fan speed set at 70% in the Catalyst Control Center..At 70% the fan is a little loud,(nothing horrible)but that's too be expected..Cant hear it anyway while gaming...

Cons: Not really a con but you Can only overclock this card to 900/1300 in the Catalyst Control Center and I'm using the 10.5 drivers..This card has a lot more in the tank than that..But really that overclock is plenty for this card as it runs great without the overclock..

Overall Review: Card is very long, so measure before you buy to make sure it will fit your case..Its 10.5 inches long and give a little extra room because the 2 six pin power connectors plug into the back of the card... This Card is just as fast/faster than my original setup with 2-XFX 5770'S XXX in XFIRE..So now I have a lot less heat in the case and have no compatibility issues to worry about any more for gaming because of scaling issues and what not of a XFIRE setup.. Pros: -Card can run EVERY game on MAXIMUM settings with usually a constant 60fps. -Comes in sexy packaging, and the card itself is attractive -Comes with Aliens vs. Predator -Very, very fast card, cooling is awesome -This and the 5850 are the best cards on the market for the price, don't be fooled by nVidia!

Cons: -Card is long, but that is barely a con -Alien vs Predator isn't that good of a game, again, not really a con

Overall Review: Make sure you have a big enough case for this beast. This is my setup: Intel I5-750 5870 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM Coolermaster 690II case This is a gaming setup, this will run games for years to come max!

Pros: for whatever reason my 4750 with 512MB of RAM kept on lagging when I played LOTRO. i noticed that the lag happened at the same time the hard drive was spinning up so i determined i was access the disk too often for my needs and upgraded to SSD and the 5870 with the 1GB of memory. That did the trick, no more lag and I have the graphics maxed. I couldn't be happier.

Cons: None for me.

Pros: I was able to get Tech Support on the phone without too much delay. I was happy with the service they provided. I was happy with the service Egg gave me on RMA'ing this ..... board and the quick shipment of the replacement.

Cons: 1'st board had a bad DisplayPort 2'nd board had a bad DVI XFX email support was slow in responding.

Overall Review: This was my first attempt going with XFX. I have a Sapphire 5850 which runs like a champ. I am now going to wait on a ASUS 5970. Never had a ASUS either. Hope it works better then the XFX. If not, I am going back to Sapphire.

Pros: FAST. No, really fast. And that's at stock clocks. I'm able to play literally any modern game at maximum settings. You can look up reviews for more specific information, but here's my gaming experience at 1920x1200 at no less than maximum textures, max AF, and 4xAA (in FPS): Left4Dead2 ~150 Team Fortress 2 ~ 175 Fallout 3 ~ 80 Mass Effect ~ 70 Call of Duty MW2 ~ 150 Resident Evil 5 ~ 100 3DMark Vantage: P20389 --GPU Score: 19332 You get a double lifetime warranty that is still valid if you overclock and blow something up. That's simply amazing and puts it over the top of other identical cheaper cards. Addtitionally, you can overclock in Catalyst Control Center pretty easily. You can even have it calibrate it for you. And that's really handy for anyone who likes free extra performance.

Cons: Catalyst drivers are known to be pretty hit or miss. You don't get PhysX, CUDA, or OpenCL like you do with NVidia cards. You also don't get their 3D capability, but I didn't buy it for those things and you might not be looking for them either. The fan can be loud, but read more about that below.

Overall Review: The only reason I could think to not get this card would be price. And at this time, the 5850 seems to be a better bang for the buck. But if you decide you want more performance than that, you'll be extremely happy with the 5870. Using MSI afterburner and my fan profile, I idle at around 32C and load at about 71, with fan speeds of 35 and 42, respectively. (I really recommend using afterburner, since the default speed of 55% is somewhat loud, whereas mine are much more quiet.) I'll be recommending XFX cards to all of my system builder friends from now on. It's just that good. Pros: Excellent card! Haven't checked core temps yet, but the air coming out the rear vent isn't very warm at all. Plays all my games butter smooth at 1920x1080 with highest AA options in each game. Haven't had a hickup yet. I've always used another brand of cards, and was a little hestitant to get the ATI due to "horrible drivers" as people put it, but I haven't had any problems at all.

Cons: None, yet. I suppose maybe it won't keep my apartment warm during the winter anymore?

Pros: Fantastic card! Great XFX Warranty! Runs everything I can throw at it. Cysis will run with everything ultra high with 2x AA on 1920x1200. I haven't been able to slow it down. Get's a 7.8 on the Windows Experience Index. DirectX 11 support. Runs silent after the XFX BIOS Flash.

Cons: Runs cool, but not as cool as the reference card. Probably because it doesn't throttle down as far. Runs at 50-55c on idle and around the mid to upper 60s on load. It's not that big of a deal, but that was the only "con". Either way it's still way better than my 4870 512MB. The only other "con" that I could include here is the fact that this card is quite long and unlike the reference card doesn't have the PCI-E Six Pin power adaptors on top. They are on the end of the card. Thankfully I have lots of room in my case, but you'll want to have some extra room for them.
