Overall Review: This is the simplest, best, and highest quality sink and fan you can imagine. Become proficient with thermal paste. Another contributor put it well: wipe off residue until you have an even translucent film of paste and so you can at least read the CPU markings through it all. That's a big secret.

Pros: Was able to fit my GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 board with no problems.

Pros: I've had no problems using this fan/heatsink. Haven't thouroughly tested to see how cool the processor is yet. At a glance the processor was running in the mid to upper 30s(celcius). Haven't seen it rise above 40 yet. It looks nice through my case window. It was easier to install on my socket 478 than I thought it would be.

Cons: It weighs a ton and now my case weighs a ton. Don't plan on moving your computer around a lot. Just go ahead and have the LAN party at your house so you won't have to move it. J/K It isn't any heavier than the old 19" CRT. That was what I used to use at a LAN ... heavy monitor!!!

Overall Review: Use the Zalman Thermal grease. It is so easy to use. The container is almost like a whiteout container in that it has a paint brush built into the lid. Just paint on the grease and your ready to go.

Pros: Very BIG and COOLS like a champ! Nothing else would do for my rig (except maybe watercool).

Cons: Kinda expensive for a fan (I'm guessing it's this guys name that's driving the price.

Cons: A bit load, nothing crazy though.

Overall Review: Fit on a e2140 with a 100% overclock.

Cons: No AM2 bracket - AGAIN? why not? it's nearly the same die as the 939 so the heatsync is not the issue... just need the little brackets.

Pros: This is probably the best heatsink you can buy. I can overclock my p4 to 3.2 with this easily running at about 30C under full load with dual primes going. The secret is to get skilled with your thermal paste for the people having high temps. I go about 1 or 2 grains of uncooked rice before spreading no more, just a little does it to much is just as bad as not enough.

Cons: its heavy but not really as bad as it seems. If you replace the plastic brackets with metal ones you won't have any damage from moving it with it on. Most commonly the reason people get damage from heavy heatsinks is the plastic brackets break when you move them. this wont fit with the metal bracket replacements without a little dremmel work to the bracket, an hour of grinding to get it to fit since i broke like 4 of the horrible plastic plastic retention brackets

Pros: 51 degees farenheit idle with X3460. Not withstanding that, this HSF is incontrovertably the best there is and ever was. Anyone with an eye for the obvious and with a basic knowledge of physics will likely agree.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: They complained the weight of this unit could damage the motherboard if the computer was jostled. Are you kidding? The leverage of new high profile units is far more likely to break a socket or board.
