Pretty good overall

Pros: Decent product, as it never seems to have issues with playing games. It never really gets hot, and I was able to adjust the fan curve to be a bit more aggressive and more to my liking.

Cons: Display out didn't like to wake from sleep, and it would sometimes take up to 2 minutes to display the desktop on wake. Also, I was surprised that the framerates weren't much better than my GTX970 until I went to 4k. Then it was acceptable, but not stellar. I replaced this with a Radeon VII, and I'm much happier with it.

Overall Review: Probably going to sell the GTX1080, as I was never really satisfied with it. This is NOT a reflection on Zotac, as the build quality was fine and I had no issues with anything they did. Also, I'm not really happy with the way Nvidia has been moving toward anti-consumer and anti-board partner business practices. The only current competition is AMD, so that is the way to go then.

Fans dying after three months!!!

Pros: Small

Cons: Ordered this card at the end of Sept and everything worked fine out of the box, started getting random restarts the the fans began to ramp up and down. Spent a week and a half playing email tag with Zotac "tech" support getting asked the same questions multiple times and one of my emails just being ignored all together. Finally took it upon myself just to replace the fans with two 92mm noctua fans that im running through the MB because I was tired of the run around from Zotac.

Overall Review: Wish I could give lower than a 1 rating. Would not recommend this card and I will never buy another product from Zotac again.

Installed in a ten year old amd computer with an athlon cpu.

Pros: It works great. I play older games and plan on using this in a new build. Stays way cool because I am not doing anything to really work it hard. I have it in a big antec case so air flow is not a problem.

Cons: None at this time.

Overall Review: I would recommend this product to others. It looks great with the Zotec lighted up on the top of the card. I am not into fancy lights but may change my mind after I build a new computer with such things and then have to move it from below the desk to the top of the desk.

Finally gives my old case some breathing room...

Pros: A better deal than the RTX 2080, that's for d*mn sure.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I am upgrading from a GTX 980 (4GB) to this ZOTAC Mini (8GB) just because my old card was bulky as hell for my small case and was not cutting it for my needs. This card will hold me down for nice gaming settings for the next few years or so. It's definitely going to be a long time before I decide to upgrade from this wonderful card.

Had issues

Pros: Immediately recognized by Windows 10 Pro
Easily set up with latest NVidia Drivers
Easily set up in SLI configuration.
Plays my games in full out mad speeds at 4k
Cranks out some nice hashes as a miner as well.
NewEgg backs up what they sell.
Handle a decent overclock without getting unstable.
A minimal foot print and weight if you are considering for a smaller case or open case rig.

Cons: Iffy QA - Had one show up with a loose shroud on it. Fixed it quick though, snapped in.
One card freaked after 29 Days. Again more iffy QA as I found a bent power connector pin.

Overall Review: I bought a total of 6 of these - 4 for a mining rig and two to slap in my gaming machine. Everything installed and got running initially with zero issues. After a couple days to verify stability, I was able to start playing with overclocking them a little. Mine all arrived with Micron memory, which I've had good results with in the past. I was able to run them with +200Mhz on the core and +400Mhz on the mem without much instability, although I noted the miner would crash maybe every other day or so at those levels. The gamers had zero issue with that. I did tweak them all back a little (+175 & +375) and they all ran for days at those settings.

I set up the two gamers in SLI in an ASUS Prime B370 board with a Ryzen 1600 and 16G of 3200Mhz RAM. I play ARPGs and this set up is overkill really. This system completely eats up both Diablo III and PoE at every setting maxed out at 4K resolution. It scoffs at Torchlight II, and at anything 1080p. I dragged out my buggy old version of Skyrim, which was still buggy as hell, but it sure looks good and smooth until it crashes now. LOL. I can imagine this kind of set up is going to be more than enough, even for demanding current first person shooters. I was running on a 55" LG TV 4k @60Hz with no issues; looked great with no jaggies or lag, even when the action got nutty at 60fps, which is where both my titles max out. I suspect there would be no issues with multiple 4K monitors either.

The cards I set up as miners are mostly doing an acceptable, if not amazing, job. For the miners, I decided to tweak back a hair more, to get long term stability. I finally settled on +150Mhz for the core, and +350Mhz on the memory. I could easily get a week's non-stopping running out of the rig (which also included 5 Zotac 1060 3Gs) before I would reboot Windows, just as a stability precaution.

That was until the other night. I noticed the mining software was only showing 3 of 4 1080s hashing. I checked the Device Manager which showied all 4 working fine. I pulled up the configuration using using MSI Afterburner, and it showed one card with all zeros for core clock, mem clock, fan rpm and gpu temp. Hmmmm. I did a complete shutdown, and power cycled the rig. When it came back up, Windows was showing all 4 1080s still. Whew. Then I checked the configuration using GPU-Z, and that was very odd. It reported the GTX1080 as a Zotac with 8G of Micron memory. It reported the correct driver. It reported all the default clocking as active. But everything else was either 0 or NULL. Weird. Did a restart into Safe Mode, killed the NVidia drivers with DDU, and rebooted. Got all the cards showing up in Windows with the Basic driver OK. Reinstalled the NVidia drivers with no errors. But on the reboot I got the same thing; Windows saw all the cards working, but no mining software could access that card. I tried several. GPU-Z showed the same weird results with NULLs and 0 in places where there should have been numbers.

Long story short, tried the card in different slots and other machines and got the same weird results. I checked with NewEgg and there was a 30 day Return (for replacement only) and today was the 30th day, but the website wouldn't let me generate an RMA. I hopped onto Customer Service Chat, and a nice young lady helped me deal with that issue and I am getting a replacement card and a pre-paid shipping label for the defective one.

If I could, I would rate this experience 2 1/2 stars as MEH. One out of 6 cards shouldn't be going out to lunch in less than 30 days, which really has me thinking hard of rounding down to only 2 stars. But NewEgg's Customer Service and standing behind their product makes me want to round up to three. So round up to 3 on that basis, but be aware the product only rates a 2 Star review.

Update 19 Aug 18 - I was getting ready to ship this back, when I got an odd notification from my mining motherboard that one of my cards didn't have any power to it. Which was odd, since every thing had been plugged in for days without this issue. Guess which card? It was securely plugged in, but on closer inspection it appears one of the pins on the power connector was slightly bent. A little TLC with some slender needlenose, and the rig rebooted. Lo and behold! The card was working AOK again.

I still have an RMA good to the end of the week, so I will keep a close eye on it. Still, it's not like I was horsing the connectors in an out over the last month. I'm suspecting another Zotac QA issue, that I was lucky enough to catch in the end, so I am rolling back to 2 Starts overall.

10/10 would buy again

Pros: -Installation was easy
-It's nice and small doesn't take up space
-POWERFUL AF
-Has cool white LED of Zotac on the top

Cons: I couldn't think of any cons except for the $450 hole in my pocket, but that was my decision.

Loving it so far!

Pros: My games look great! Fairly inexpensive as 1080 cards go.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I was looking to upgrade from my old GTX 960, but the 1080 cards were expensive for the longest time. Then the price finally started to drop, and I figured I'd get myself one in a few months, maybe as a Christmas present for myself. Then a promo came up that was too good to pass up, so I ordered one. It's actually a little smaller than my old card. As soon as I installed it, I rescanned my games, and watched as the recommended settings for some of my newer games went from "Low" to "Very high" or "Ultra." I was playing Dishonored 2, and I was at the scene where you slip out the window of the locked room you're in. I looked at the town below and thought to myself, "Oh wow! It's foggy!" My old card wasn't able to process that level of detail. Now I feel like I'm playing those games again for the first time. Definitely happy with my purchase.
