Rating + 1 Bait and switch- AVOID!

Send lower end model of tablet that didn't match spec or model # listed on the neweggflash listing - hoping i didnt notice???

Now I'm out $$ shipping it back to them for "RMA". Hoping newegg or vendor will help me but no luck so far.

Avoid at all costs.

Rating + 1 RMA FAIL

I asked for an RMA, as I realized that this PC didn't have the capability for dual monitors (my fault; I assumed anything at this price point would have this). They emailed me and said "Sure, just sent it back" but didn't provide an RMA number. I followed up and got no response. At this point (a couple of weeks later), I had to use the computer for work, so now I can't return it. This seems like pretty typical behavior from this seller if you look at other reviews. DO NOT BUY HERE.

Shipped a different version of the tablet than what the product page indicated... half the RAM and no bluetooth. Now I have to deal with RMA - THANKS!

I ordered a new Laptop through Newegg from 17th Street and I received it with a DOA display. That part was not 17th Streets fault. I requested an exchange but instead they claimed it was out of stock and refunded my purchase price. When I called them they said I should just go ahead and reorder it. When I tried, within moments of the phone call, I found it was not "Out of Stock" as they had claimed but was indeed in stock but the price had gone up $50. I called back and got a “Too Bad, So Sad” reply. To make things right Newegg had to step up and provide me with the machine at the original price. I’m VERY disappointed in the Newegg Marketplace experience and I feel Newegg needs to police the vendors they use more diligently or their reputation may suffer as a result of the poor business practices of these third party vendors.

Rating + 1 Buyer beware, no CS, no recourse.

I was sent a non functioning computer. The computer will not stay connected to the internet. The network adapter does not work properly even after updates and diagnostics. I initiated RMA's with the seller twice and have had no response from them. I am hopefully relying on NewEgg to help resolve the issue but please beware. There is not even a record on my account of my having initiated an RMA (I am assuming it is due to having to go through the sellers RMA process). I am extremely unhappy. Even if nothing were wrong with the computer, I should have had the option to return the item with a restocking fee, but have heard nothing from the seller at all in regards to my complaint that the computer does not function as it is supposed to, and I wanted a return. Please beware.

Rating + 2 Full of Adware

My beautiful new laptop was full of popups, ads, and survey requests from the moment I turned it on. After running antivirus software the problem was fixed, but not something anyone should have to deal with on an unused computer. Now it runs great!

The return/exchange guarantee period is 30-days from receipt of delivery. All returns first require a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER from 17th Street Photo.     Return or Replacement Policy: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receipt, for a refund, or a replacement - subject to the following:

    a) Contact 17th Street Photo to receive a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, to ensure proper handling of the return and/or replacement. Products cannot be returned without an RMA number.

    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.

On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
