1 out of 5 eggs1 out of 4 DEAD

Pros: NOTHING

Cons: 1 stick out of the 4 I ordered was DOA. It would blue screen at random times. At first I thought it was the memory controller but nope tried it in a different system and same problem. And in the time it took me to troubleshoot I have gone over the return time.

1 out of 5 eggsBudget

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Ordered 2, Came with the same box, with two completely different PCBs and chips. Would not boot my Atom system with both installed, turned out one does not play nice with the other.

Overall Review: I understand this is a budget product but the RAM doesnt even come close to being the same product. Not the Egg's fault that Crucial is rebadging cheap stuff and selling it as theirs.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent product.

Pros: Works fine in PAIRS on Intel TY915 & is cheap. I prefer A-Data or Kingston, but ordered this because it was all that was in stock, it's cheap & works.

Cons: Installed memory modules on Intel TY915 (DELL Optiplex 320) and the BIOS would not recogonize the Crucial if paired with another brand. I had to remove all RAM and make sure Crucial were paired up, it was a pain, but none the less they worked. You get what you pay for, hopefully you will not had a picky motherboard.

Overall Review: Over all it was a good bang for the buck, but I would perfered to stick with A-Data/Kingston/Corsair had they been in stock. If you're only gonna save a few bucks, just get another brand.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quick install, immediately recognition by the motherboard, shows up as it should in BIOS and Windows.

Cons: If you can call safety in shipping a con, the shrinkwrap was 'fun' to open, but a good pair of scissors and two seconds of planning killed that issue.

Overall Review: I had been in the planning stages of building the core replacement parts for my dad's gift and the Day I went to submit the original order (the twin dimm kit version of this) Newegg ran out. I suppose they were pretty popular at the capacity and price. Wanting it right away I bit the extra couple dollars and bought two of these.

5 out of 5 eggsGot what I expected

Pros: Worked fine, used to upgraed a Dell Dimension E521 from 1GB to 2GB. I ran CPU-Z to find out what was running in the machine and what timings the machine used. I found this memory, and it was a match. The first attempt it didnt work, no boot. I simply swapped which slots it was in, and all worked fine with correct voltage and timings as the original memory

Cons: None with the memory itself.

Overall Review: Be sure to try different configurations in the memory slots. Example, try in slots 1 and 2, if that fails try 1 and 3. (Thats what the Dell wanted is the matched pairs in slots 1 and 3, and 2 and 4).

1 out of 5 eggsLast Time I Buy Curcial

Pros: none

Cons: I've been having some issues finding RAM that is compatible with a motherboard I have purchase. So whilst searching, I found myself at Crucial's website, this was amongst the list of RAM "100% guaranteed compatible" with my motherboard... and guess what... it's not.
