4 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: It's an SSD, Cheap, and it boots windows in less than 10 seconds

Cons: it's not samsung evo fast?

Overall Review: again, SSD, Cheap, Fast enough for what I needed it for

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Super fast on a budget, load your windows os on it, take out blank page and other useless bloat on 7 ult. and it takes up 13Gb leaving over 45 to play with. I put Diablo 3 and WoW on it to boost the boot times of those games, but at the slowest windows boots in 10 seconds. Great Buy for the Dollar. Less than a 30 second restart to ready to go again. I love it!

Cons: Wish I had more money to buy bigger SSD cards instead of rpm cards for main storage capacity

5 out of 5 eggsDecent for its price

Pros: - It was cheap, brought the 120GB on sale for $25 after rebate.
-Good performance for the price i paid for it.

Cons: -Slower than other SSD on the market but i only paid $25 for the 120gb so i can't complain.
-Scores only a 7.4 WEI.

Overall Review: I'm happy with the performance for the price i paid.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after month of use

Pros: Was a fast boot drive.

Cons: Died out. After a month of use it crashed and could not see in bios anymore.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic boot drive. Fits most color schemes

Pros: Fast.
Quiet.
Flat black fits in with most color schemes(especially mine as I have a full white/black build).

Cons: Not much storage, obviously. This is meant for a boot drive and some other important programs you want to keep on it, otherwise you need another drive. This is to be expected.

Overall Review: I actually have a 480GB SSD, but it stopped working and I am getting it RMA'd, so I bought this to replace and use as a boot drive. Also, definitely suits my NZXT S340 case on the SSD mounts that you can see through the side panel!

5 out of 5 eggsGood cheap SSD

Pros: Cheap, works, faster than spinning platter what else is there to say.

Cons: None... I guess you can complain about size but I got it for a specific purpose and the size fits nicely for me.

Overall Review: Mine goes in a server in my lab. This would be nice for non-techies who do not use a lot of space (ie grandparts with new holiday laptops).

2 out of 5 eggsWAS an excellent drive...

Pros: Can't beat it for only $45! (On sale.) I just upgraded my HP Laptop from a spinning disk to this new SSD. The speed increase is quite dramatic! It will be nice having longer battery life, too. I just ordered 2 more, so I can upgrade my wife's laptop, and have a spare.

Cons: UPDATE: After about 3 years of reliable 24/7 service, it suddenly dropped dead. NO WARNING, just a reboot, and lock in the BIOS screen "No HDD found". Nothing could gain access, I tried several different computers and USB/SATA adapters. The drive is a paperweight. (Rating changed from 5 to 2 eggs.)

Overall Review: I originally bought this drive with an IDE adapter, to use in a "legacy" machine. Turns out that IDE adapter has issues. I'm glad it didn't foul up the drive. After some wrangling, I finally got it to reformat, and now it works beautifully in my HP Laptop. HP uses an odd dual partition system, but the AOMEI Backupper software worked. I plugged this drive into a USB adapter, installed AOMEI on the WIN7 machine, and made the backup to a LAN drive. Then restored it from the LAN drive, swapped HD's and it booted... in seconds! Ya gotta LOVE SSD's! :)

4 out of 5 eggsWorked great, but died after 3 years and 2 days

Pros: - Cheap and decent performance for the price.

Cons: - Died without any warning literally 2 days after the warranty expired.

Overall Review: - 4 stars for value/performance, minus 1 for sudden death.
- Lasting 3 years with almost constant up-time I am quite pleased.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked great until it died after 2 years and 9 months

Pros: the SSD works great as a system drive
3 year warranty

Cons: dies completely without any warning

Overall Review: Recommend you use these in a raid 1 configuration. Sending off mine for RMA. 3 months until warranty expired

1 out of 5 eggsFailed after about 1 year

Pros: Pretty good while it worked, as far as I could tell

Cons: Failed after about 15 months. Not recognized in my desktop or in an external USB enclosure connected to my laptop.

Overall Review: We'll see how easily Corsair makes the warranty replacement process. This drive was in my desktop as an OS-only drive and was never subjected to any harsh conditions.

Cons: Small size

Overall Review: Great product if you need something for just an OS drive.

2 out of 5 eggsBroken twice in less than a year

Pros: It's nice while it's working, and it's really cheap.

Cons: It broke 2 months after buying it, so I had it replaced via the RMA process. Now it broke again about 8 months after the replacement came.

Overall Review: So long as you've backed everything up, and you don't mind swapping out the drive / waiting for a replacement - it's good. But I wouldn't trust it for general use.

1 out of 5 eggsworked fine until it died (60GB model)

Pros: Light. Installed easily. Worked with no problems at first.

Cons: Like many other 1 star reviews, the drive completely died after 7 months of use. The BIOS would not recognize the drive. I tried connecting it to a free SATA port on a good desktop and the desktop would not even boot with the drive connected. The controller probably died somehow.

Overall Review: Buy something else.

Cons: It stopped working after about 4 months of use. Nothing out of the ordinary happened to it, but I can't boot from it anymore.

2 out of 5 eggsDead After 10 Months

Pros: It was cheap and faster than a platter drive.

Cons: The disk started throwing errors and after I switched it out, I tried to wipe it, and even DBAN started to fail.

2 out of 5 eggs2 out of 4...

Pros: Very fast, great bargain when they work...

Cons: I purchased 4 of these to use as a stripe set in a new build, and 2 have failed so far.

Cons: Not for now all works good!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat drives

Pros: Great price, rebate process is a hassle (as always). Replaced my 32GB SSDs that run my HTPCs. Finally some breathing room for Win 7 64bit. Used CloneZilla to clone the drive, replace, expanded to fill entire physical drive, done. Boots fast and works faster then the older drive. First one went in i5 NUC with no issues. Second is in Acer Aspire Revo nettop, no issues their either.

Cons: None that I can see, except the rebate. That's always with rebates.

Overall Review: I don't use on my main system, they are for my HTPC. They don't see heavy use. Boots fast, especially in my i5 NUC.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little drive

Pros: Great price - perfomance ratio.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Got a couple of these to use in two OpenElec boxes and they've been performing very well. Has no issues running Linux.

5 out of 5 eggsBest bang for the buck

Pros: An SSD for $20 shipped. YOU CAN'T BEAT IT.

I am a big Samsung SSD fan however for the price this was going for this week you could not beat it. Corsair makes top notch components anyways so I expected something in the good-great range from this drive. The software (not included, you must download it from Corsair.com - so long as you are not a lemming you probably figured this out already) The packaging is too small to fit a CD so it was obvious to me.

Cons: No cons whatsoever. $20 is spent on eating lunch out for 2 days.

Overall Review: Fine for Win7, disable hibernation & search indexing and give yourself some head room.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Speed Increase

Pros: Quiet, cool, and a nice performance bump for my system. Windows 7 machine completely shuts down to a black screen in 2 seconds.

Cons: Not by much, but though the specs on this SSD are higher than those of the SanDisk Ultra Plus I bought a couple of months ago, the SanDisk reads and writes faster than this Corsair in a bench test.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, small SSD. I used it in my budget HTPC system for the OS and programs. Boots fast enough for me.

Cons: None so far. Probably not as fast as an Intel SSD, but I was looking for cheap with better performance than a standard hdd, not top performance.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Drive

Pros: Fast load times of Windows 7 and other software on it.

Cons: None

Overall Review: This is my first SSD and I am impressed with the speed. I am using it in my HTPC to hold OS and a few programs. So far, it has been a great value and I'm glad I decided to add it to this build.

Pros: Works well with my asus p8z77v-pro MB. Installed Windows and loads it at about 8 seconds. Installed crysis 3 on it and load times are not a problem.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsFirst SSD

Pros: While this is my first SSD this preforms excellent so far, I am using this for my Windows 8 much faster load times then my old HDD. Reviews have rated this as 500+ MB Read/Write can't say how true this is for real world performance but it sure beats a HDD in terms of speed.

Cons: None yet.

5 out of 5 eggsBoots fast.

Pros: Boots super fast
quiet.

Cons: none.

Overall Review: I bought this for a main drive for my gaming rig. I don't regret buying it because I will be moving it from my gaming rig into my lap top. I thought 60GB would be enough for my main PC, despite what everyone was telling me. I was wrong. after installing windows and installing updates I'm almost at 40GB used.

It's still a good drive, which is why I'm moving it to my laptop. I just need a bigger drive for my gaming PC.

5 out of 5 eggsGood deal

Pros: Decently fast. Used it to revive a 5 year old computer where the rest of the hardware specs were still good for standard desktop use.

Cons: No mounting bracket included. Not rated as it's advertised speeds, but that could be due to an older SATA controller on the mainboard

Overall Review: Will buy more for upgrading older desktops and breathing new life into them. Boot times went from over a minute, to around 20 seconds.

1 out of 5 eggsCHEAP JUNK - DO NOT BUY

Pros: NONE

Cons: Cheaply made piece of junk. SATA power connector broke when I tried to install my power connector. Drive feels flimsy in your hand. You can tell it's cheaply made just by the weight. I've owned about 10 SSDs over the last 2 years, all of which were problem free, and yes I'm careful & do know how to install computer hardware. Setting up RMA with NewEgg.

Pros: Cheap. Decent Hackintosh Os drive

Cons: Had two drives both ran hot and they want me to pay to send it to them. I ended missing out on the rebate because I decided to send it back to newegg for a refund.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Reasonable Cost for a SSD, Better Read/Write Speeds than Competitors.

Cons: Not as Fast as it Could/Should be

Overall Review: Although used on a Dell T7500 Work Station
Only Getting 7.1 Data Transfer Rate (Windows Experience index) VS 7.6 Data Transfer Rate (Windows Experience index) On A Dell E6500 Laptop Using an OLDER Corsair Force Series CSSD-F60GB2/RF
