Most importantly, do you have the knowledge of today’s newer vehicles and the products to be installed?
All of the in-vehicle Installations that are managed by our Installation network carry a “nationwide” limited lifetime warranty. All in-home installations come with a one year labor warranty. This warranty covers the labor portion of the Installation, and does not apply to the product installed. The product warranty is covered by the manufacturer of the product.

It is always best to call the installer after the appointment has been scheduled, so that you can ask these types of questions and they are prepared for your scheduled appointment.

When you enter all your information at www.InstallCard.com this automatically puts you in the system for the next available Customer Service Representative to start working on your installation. If you can’t activate your eInstallCard online please call 1-800-950-9869, please have your eInstallCard number, reciept number, name, address, and phone, product information and vehicle or location information. We are unable to start the process of contacting the installer unless we have all this information.
Once you have activated your eInstallCard, by entering all the information we need at www.InstallCard.com, we will call the local Installation facility. We are not a service that just hands out names. We actually call the installer and inform them of all the particulars of your installation. Sometimes our contact person is not readily available, and most installation facilities are not open on weekends or holidays. It can take up to 2-3 business days for our customer service reps to get back to you with the name of your local installer.
In most cases, your eInstallCard will completely cover the cost of installing your product. But in some cases, there may be extra charges to be paid at the time of installation, directly to the installer. The two most common reasons installers require additional amounts are:
Additional parts required to securely and cosmetically install the product in your particular model of vehicle (example: install kit with harness etc..). OR
Sports, Luxury or exotic vehicles that have difficult dashboards requiring significantly more time to take apart or put back together. InstallerNet can work with you and your installer to help you find out if such charges apply and to minimize them.
After you enter all the information online you will receive an e-mail confirming that we have you in the system. Please be accurate with your e-mail address. If you do not see your email inbox, please check your spam folder. If you do not receive this e-mail, please call InstallerNet at 800-979-0027.
Each installation performed using an eInstallCard comes with a 3 year installation labor warranty. If at any time, the MANUFACTURER’s installed product becomes inoperable due to a faulty installation the installer will correct the problem at no charge. These warranties are available nationwide.
Defective Product – Removal and Replacement Warranty
In the event that MANUFACTURER’s Product does not work properly at the time of installation, an InstallerNet member installer will remove the defective unit and reinstall a replacement unit at no additional charge. If the MANUFACTURER’s Product becomes defective sometime after the initial installation, and it is determined that the malfunction is not caused by the installation, then the installer will replace the defective unit and the customer will be responsible for an R&R (removal and reinstallation) charge which will not exceed 50% of the original installation charge, a trip charge may apply. These installation labor warranties apply regardless of whether the MANUFACTURER’s Product is in or out of the product warranty period. InstallerNet Members will be required to contact MANUFACTURER’s Technical Support to confirm defective or compliant operation of hardware.
Troubleshooting
At MANUFACTURER’s request (or MANUFACTURER’s customer request) InstallerNet will dispatch a local InstallerNet member to troubleshoot installation (where product/install issues are suspected). If, in troubleshooting, it is determined that InstallerNet’s Installation Labor Warranty does not apply, a trip charge and hourly rate will apply. InstallerNet Members will be required to contact MANUFACTURER’s Technical Support to confirm defective or compliant operation of hardware.
Each eInstallCard is different, so what is included or not included will depend on which eInstallCard you purchase. In most cases, the eInstallCard covers basic labor for the Installation selected. Each authorized InstallerNet professional undergoes a complete and thorough application process. All Installers must have at least two years installation experience and either is or soon to be MECP (Mobile Electronics Certification Process) certified.
