Rating + 1 What, seriously!?!

First of all, I ordered a JVC DLP TV bulb and received a bulb/housing that was obviously different from the model I requested. Groan, no big deal I guess. I call up newegg who said it was from a 3rd party seller; no big deal again. So I call the 3rd party (a company called Tri-Dot). The lady on the phone claimed "it happens all the time" (???). So they send me an RMA and I quickly send the item back. No refund. So I call again about a week later and again was told I would be getting a refund. 2 WEEKS LATER, NO REFUND. So by this time, I have their number on speed dial and call again. Same lady who is "shocked" that I hadn't received a refund yet seeing as it had been close to 3 weeks. I FINALLY received the refund this morning to my amazement. Would they have done their due diligence and refunded me if I hadn't pestered them?? I'm guessing no. A terrible waste of my time and energy. Beware!

It was suppose to a roller kit with 2 different parts. Received identical parts. Seller stonewalled me by giving a bogus RMA URL.

Rating + 3 Tri-Dot Innovation, great CS, not such a great product

I recently purchased after-market projector lamps from Tri-Dot Innovation which I ended up having to return due to manufacturing defects. Their customer service department was stellar, making the return process as painless as possible. I'd give Customer Service 5 eggs. But the product was poorly made, and in my opinion should not have been offered for sale in the first place, which is why I'm giving them 3 eggs overall.

Bought a product - didn't work.
Sent it back - got the replacement.
Looked like the same one - still didn't work.
Contacted them AGAIN - will not respond.
Will not purchase from again.

Rating + 1 Stay Away

They do not ship! I placed an order and paid for 2 day shipping! It has been 8 Days. and can not even get a date when or if it will ship. Newegg will not help. they just say contact the seller but the seller does not answer the phone or have any way to leave a massage!

Only one of my 3 items was shipped due to a messup between newegg and the company. When I contacted them they had the other items shipped and over to UPS withing hours. I would definitely use them again. Customer service was fast as ligntening. Thanks for making it all right. I have my bulbs and am good to go.

Rating + 4 Good experience - Bad product

A few things i did not appreciate:
- Purchasing an item through newegg and having to deal with another vendor to resolve a problem.
- Buying a product that went bad after 2 hours.

Things that were okay
- Thankfully the vendor was responsive and gave me a refund no questions asked
- Paid for return shipping label (didnt expect that)
- I still have not received my refund but communication surrounding the refund is good and i feel confident i will receive it.
