CPU AMD|8-CORE FX-8350 4.0G 8M R Configurator

Pros: Lots of options... that's it.

Cons: Didn't boot. I don't know how much money this thing cost me. I bought an extra CPU and Video card thinking why it wasn't loading. I went to many forums and all their help didn't fix anything. It would be great if this would work. But the stupid red CPU light is always on and I don't know how to fix this. I'm pretty sure the motherboard is the thing that is broken here but this whole thing is nonsense. And the worst part was that after going through my trouble shooting and going to school and having a life, I can no longer return this product.

Overall Review: I would not recommend this product. I would not purchase this again. I wish they built it better.

Overall Review: Make sure to get a better cooler than the stock one, it does its job at keeping the cpu's temps in check but is loud under full load

Cons: SSD Smart error after 3 months. RMA'ed and still waiting on replacement, it has been 3 weeks....
Motherboard USB over current message and wont boot. Days of troubleshooting with Asus including "benching the motherboard" and still no fix. Waiting on replacement for 2 weeks after completing all their steps. Called today and they had not sent me a replacement yet, the representative put in another request to get me a replacement. I don't feel confident that anything would have happened if I had not called to bug them. So far I have been without a working PC for over a month and no resolution in sight. Not impressed with Mushkin or Asus customer service at least as far as communicating updates or making it easy to resolve a warranty issue.

Overall Review: Based on my experience with this package I would not recommend the motherboard or SSD drive.

Pros: low price, decent performance. overclocked with ease, does what i need it to do. perfect for mid range gaming systems.

Cons: not as powerful as i thought it was, but hey it's inexpensive and runs well.

Overall Review: default fan not ideal for OC scenarios, obviously.

-Processor is unlocked and easy to overclock.
-Great price on items by combining the order

Cons: I would suggest purchasing an aftermarket heatsink for the processor. If you intend to use turbo or overclock it, the included heatsink may prove to be inadequate.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this to other shoppers, quality parts for a decent price.

Pros: Despite the heat coming out of my case, this cpu has ran brilliantly for the 2 months I've had it now. My previous cpu was the 8320 and I loved it as well. Only reason I upgraded was a fried motherboard, cpu was still working and has since been passed on to a friend.

Pros of this chip is that it can handle multiple programs at once while still maintaining a stable system. With the right GPU you can easily get ultra settings on any game without lag or stuttering. I can quite easily run Fallout 4 at 120FPS (monitor can go to 144) no problem alongside my r9 390x gpu.

Overall the heat problem is not an issue with a slightly larger than stock cooler. I'm using a coolermaster hyper model and I only get temps running in the 50's and 60's when idle, and up to the low 80's when running maxed out at its stock 4.0mhz

Cons: Heat, thats it really, I'd recommend a better than included cooler to go with this beast or you run the risk of cooking it.

Overall Review: Runs great without overclocking, so for those who don't know anything about OC'ing, its a great stock cpu, don't worry about running it higher than 4.0 unless you absolutely need to, aside from those situations, it can handle anything at its normal max speed.

Overall Review: Use to be big Asus fan until I started getting bad motherboard after bad motherboard from them. This is my first MSI board and it is so much more reliable and easier to work with then Asus stuff. I couldn't be more happier with MSI.

Pros: If you buy this processor, make sure you use the configurator. This was my first build and using it to develop game/mobile software. If you don't want to spend time looking for compatibility, financial comparisons, and performance then do it this way. I'm sure if you build computers all the time you may get a better deal but this is also a good deal too! Putting it all together was easy and shipping came two days before promised, excellent job on that! I'm up and running like a charm. I used to run android SDK on my laptop and have to have that as the only application open before it bogs way down. Now I can run the Unreal editor, photoshop, and android SDK with no problem. Also opening the programs are really quick like loading a word document, on my wimpy Lenovo i7 with 8GB of ram takes a minute or two.

Cons: -Not the newest AMD processor but still great by today's standard.
