3 out of 5 eggsGreat item if you want your ears to bleed

Pros: Sound seems good, cool Dolby program to change things up a bit.

Cons: Most uncomfortable headset EVER. I have above average size ears, and the pain is unbearable, im having to adjust this headset every 45 seconds. On top of that, they're heavy, so if I adjust them too much to the point that the top isnt hitting my head, it puts a lot of weight on my ears. Complete opposite of what I was expecting. Very dissapointed. If you're looking for something to cover your ears and feel nice, go elsewhere
EDIT: cut up a shower towel and it inside and now my ears havnt hurted in months

Other Thoughts: 2/5, sound/mic is good, but comfort is terrible. OUCH!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing headphones

Pros: -Great sound
-Dolby 7.1
-Microphone picks up voice well
-Solid design
-Easy to store
-Very well built with steel supports
-On headset controls

Cons: -Included drivers were not compatible with windows 10, but they were easy to find only
-Initially there was a problem where my microphone would cut out, audio would continue to function, the problem could be temporary fixed by unplugging and plugging the headphones back in. Problem no longer occurs though.

Other Thoughts: I would absolutely recommend these headphones. It would be ideal to wait for them to go on sale but they are comparable with the logitech's G430 and are built to last.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice... when on sale!

Pros: Comfortable
Good quality mic
Headset buttons look nicer than in-line controls.
Plug and play functionality.

Cons: Plastic headband and housing feel flimsy. Buttons and volume wheel do not feel like they will withstand extended use.

Other Thoughts: I bought these for my girlfriend to use gaming with me over voice chat. Audio quality is good and the mic quality is good. I think the buttons and volume wheel being built into the ear cup is clever but impractical if you have any kind of keyboard media controls. I cannot comment on the 7.1 surround it claims to have because it is software driven and we did not bother with the software. The computer uses Windows 10, we plugged it in, automatically found drivers and away it went. Got them on sale for $27, definitely not worth the $90 they are currently asking.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeds different volume control!

Pros: Great sound. Fits comfortably.

Cons: The volume control is hard to get to and it does not control the level very smoothly. It goes from low to too loud instantly!

Other Thoughts: Except for volume control this headset is very good

4 out of 5 eggsGreat sound

Pros: It is not only stereo , but is a surround sound headset with the downloaded software. Great outside noise cancellation with a very strong mic. Comfortable for peeps with not-so-large ears. Ear muffs are very cool to wear. Great price.

Cons: Ear muffs are a bit small.

Other Thoughts: Because I have a big head and the ears to go with it, I would by choice probably buy another model for the comfort issue I have. But still cannot beat it for the price. Minus One Egg for the size of ear issue.

3 out of 5 eggsPlug N Play and sounds decent. Good fit if your 4

Pros: Plug and play no messing with control panel or having to set playback devices or having to restart any programs/games. Have not gotten any complaints about the mic but it isn't to flexible.
Simulated surround sound is decent
Head set controls are minimal and work

Cons: I have a pretty big head and from the pictures I thought the ear cups were slightly larger. It becomes very uncomfortable after an hour or so.
Cable is kinda short well its just long enough
Windows 10 drivers from Plantronics forums did not work I had to install them from a 3rd party source :(

Other Thoughts: Sound is rather meh and as i say they become very uncomfortable after an hour or so. Not made for the us market, very small ear cups and they are very tight. It took me about 2 hours to find a working windows 10 driver and after multiple restarts and uninstalls it finally worked. I would not buy again but i got they for a very good price so no huge loss

4 out of 5 eggsBest headset I have ever owned.

Pros: Over-ear
Comfortable padding. Easily the most comfortable padding on a headset I have ever had.
USB (Kinda preference though)
Feels durable

Cons: Loud, actually a slight con in my opinion. It is like.. way too loud. I have to have it between 10-15 to not be so loud that my mic picks up the sound.
The microphone picks up a little too easily Obviously you can play with the sensitivity, but if there is no sound going on it seems to hone in on ambient noise, like a fan.... or a toddler banging on drums across the house.
Really it shouldn't be an issue if you tend to use push to talk or are in a quiet environment, but I am neither of those things.
Also I have a slight discomfort with this headset as it is the first over-ear headset I have ever had and I wear glasses so these push my frames in and it's kind of painful. If I didn't have glasses then I don't think I would have room to complain after hours of wearing them.

Ok, there is really one con that I felt wasn't just a preference thing that actually reduced it by an egg. There doesn't seem to be any compatible win 10 software for this device. So you cannot control the 7.1 surround sound as advertised. The button is lit blue for me by default and it seems to work fine. but I can not turn it off if I wanted to for some reason. If they updated their software to work with Win 10, then this would be as perfect of a headset as I could get.

Other Thoughts: The cord isn't too short, but it could be longer. Also the cable isn't braided. It is not a huge deal for me but that is a deal breaker for some people.
Really, for the price I don't think I could have done any better. this was on sale for 27$, if you see it at that price point pick it up... seriously.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: I love how comfortable these are, its almost like i'm not even wearing headphones. Plus the fact that there is 0% static at all times. Great for gaming and awesome bass.

Cons: Nothing I can think of

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this product too anyone who enjoys high quality sound while gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good.

Pros: -Microphone is amazing. Significantly more clear than any other I've used.
-Padding is soft
-Sounds pretty darn good, as long as you leave the 7.1 off.

Cons: -Ear cups are a little shallow, the tips of my ears touch the hard plastic and I don't have ears that stick out exceptionally far so this may be an issue for a lot of people.

Other Thoughts: The 7.1 thing really just makes things sound muffled and sound like there's an echo in games. Sounds okay while listening to (some) music though. Thankfully there's the convenient button right on the headset to turn it off!

4 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price !!!!

Pros: - they are very appealing, well at least to me
- mic is great!!
- got very lucky and got mine for 25 $ !!
- very convenient volume scroll button in left side of the headset as well as mic mute
- first gaming headset and they sound great especially with 7.1 while playing rainbow six siege !!

Cons: - according to some uses they break and i can definitely tell why. to me just by stretching them and wearing them i can see them easily breaking in less than a year.
- no official windows 10 support but there are ways around to enable 7.1 surround but very inconvenient to have to do the method every time i turn on my laptop.
- messes up nvidia shadow play in game sound recording. when recording it does not record sound which is very frustrating after recording something very important and later finding out that there is no sound after playing back.
- a little tight on the head. would like to stretch them a little but scared that it might break because of the cheap plastic.

Other Thoughts: great for the price i got them for. if you have the money to spend on some quality 100$ headphones you might as well save and get great ones unless these are on sale again for a cheaper price than the original 80 $ these are not even 50$ worth.

natch these up when they are on sale if you are looking for a gaming headset and you wont be disappointed
