5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: I love how comfortable these are, its almost like i'm not even wearing headphones. Plus the fact that there is 0% static at all times. Great for gaming and awesome bass.

Cons: Nothing I can think of

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this product too anyone who enjoys high quality sound while gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good.

Pros: -Microphone is amazing. Significantly more clear than any other I've used.
-Padding is soft
-Sounds pretty darn good, as long as you leave the 7.1 off.

Cons: -Ear cups are a little shallow, the tips of my ears touch the hard plastic and I don't have ears that stick out exceptionally far so this may be an issue for a lot of people.

Other Thoughts: The 7.1 thing really just makes things sound muffled and sound like there's an echo in games. Sounds okay while listening to (some) music though. Thankfully there's the convenient button right on the headset to turn it off!

4 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price !!!!

Pros: - they are very appealing, well at least to me
- mic is great!!
- got very lucky and got mine for 25 $ !!
- very convenient volume scroll button in left side of the headset as well as mic mute
- first gaming headset and they sound great especially with 7.1 while playing rainbow six siege !!

Cons: - according to some uses they break and i can definitely tell why. to me just by stretching them and wearing them i can see them easily breaking in less than a year.
- no official windows 10 support but there are ways around to enable 7.1 surround but very inconvenient to have to do the method every time i turn on my laptop.
- messes up nvidia shadow play in game sound recording. when recording it does not record sound which is very frustrating after recording something very important and later finding out that there is no sound after playing back.
- a little tight on the head. would like to stretch them a little but scared that it might break because of the cheap plastic.

Other Thoughts: great for the price i got them for. if you have the money to spend on some quality 100$ headphones you might as well save and get great ones unless these are on sale again for a cheaper price than the original 80 $ these are not even 50$ worth.

natch these up when they are on sale if you are looking for a gaming headset and you wont be disappointed

2 out of 5 eggsGreat item if you want your ears to bleed

Pros: Sound seems good, cool Dolby program to change things up a bit.

Cons: Most uncomfortable headset EVER. I have above average size ears, and the pain is unbearable, im having to adjust this headset every 45 seconds. On top of that, they're heavy, so if I adjust them too much to the point that the top isnt hitting my head, it puts a lot of weight on my ears. Complete opposite of what I was expecting. Very dissapointed.

If you're looking for something to cover your ears and feel nice, go elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: 2/5, sound/mic is good, but comfort is terrible. OUCH!

5 out of 5 eggsSound is great, Price is right!

Pros: Comfortable for long sessions, great sound, and the mic works great. This is the second set for 780's I have purchased, recently buying another for my son who was jealous of my pair. I have two other friends I have recommended this model to who have absolutely loved them. The surround-sound is okay, it's required that you install the appropriate drivers (supplied), but does help locating sound sources in 3D games (easier to know if you're being shot from in front, or behind).

Cons: After two years of ownership - NONE.

Other Thoughts: Despite one review claiming they do not work with Windows 10, this has not been my experience, my son's, or my two friends (all running Win10).

5 out of 5 eggsBest headset.

Pros: Durable! Mine has lasted me 4 years, and that's saying something because all the other headsets I've owned have had something break on them within months.
It's cheap, only under $50 for something so great just makes me laugh at all the other headsets.
They are comfortable too, soft felt like material feels good against your face, pressure isn't overbearing. They do run a little big, so if you have a big head, no problem.
The sound is GREAT, I've had other headsets that were great sounding, but then they break after less than a year, these are still working great 4 years after I've bought them.

Cons: The felt collects dust that you have to clean off, but it's no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I LOVE this headset, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great headset, and I WILL be buying another one before they stop making it, maybe 2.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with Windows 10

Pros: Comfortable and high quality headphones.

Cons: Won't work with windows 10. If you have Win 10 there is no reason you should be looking at these.

5 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: Good mic quality. Great sound, I was able to hear some parts of music instruments that I couldn't hear on my apple earbuds. Very comfortable, I don't recall a time where I had to take it off and readjust it or whatsoever. This headset has taken its beatings every now and then. I have dropped it multiple times, rarely slamming it on the desk... And it didn't snap.

Cons: The headset snapping thing is true, the right side of my headset's headband snapped when I was removing my headset from my head :( I couldn't remove the mic background noise (changing mic settings on windows), but it was tolerable for my friends. The ear cups can get dirty, so be aware of that. Even though I'm a clean freak, I didn't care for that. 7.1 surround sound was a bit useless to me, I didn't care for it and it sounded awful for my taste. Also, this is a USB headset, but I would have preferred a 3.5mm jack and get rid of the 7.1 feature. However, this is all just preference. Headset cord is a little bit short, but it'll do.

Other Thoughts: The headset WILL get uncomfortable for a few days, but after that it should be all good :) I would buy this headset again, but I don't like having USB headsets, due to me not being able to adjust the sound and stuff using Realtek HD Audio Manager. However, if you just want a headset that is good and has a decent mic, I suggest getting this headset. One more final thought is that this the cups are opened ears, so you are able to hear outside of the headset. This is good for me because my dog really likes getting my attention with his barking. Also, if you have a mechanical keyboard, you are definitely gonna be able to hear it, unless if you have music blasting in your ears.

4 out of 5 eggsReally good headset for the money

Pros: First, as usual with the Gamescom headsets, the sound is really good. It takes a while to get used to the Dolby sound coming from non-Dolby and it will sound weird at first, but it grows on you. The cord is red and non-slip, and it doesn't have the weird end protectors its predecessors had. It fits well and is easily adjustable. The cups are comfortable and a bit "standard" so if you have larger ears you'll find yourself not caring or tucking them inside sometimes. The padding is comfortable and doesn't cause the top of my head to feel rubbed off, even after hours and hours of use. The microphone is clear sounding and adjustable, as usual.

Cons: The buttons on the set are not really a con, but they are behind the set, and you might change the Dolby setting or mute the microphone by accident, and then your friends will never hear you because you won't know you're muted. Also, I don't know if it's possible to see on the pictures, but on the inside of the headset, just above the axis points, the red wire is exposed. If there is a glaring point of failure/design flaw in this headset, this has to be it. I have no idea why it isn't covered, and it seems like that would be the first point of intermittent failure, because if that plastic is sharp at all, it'll shave the insulation right off the wire and leave it exposed, causing future sound loss.

Other Thoughts: I like Plantronics products just fine, but this is a headset that came with stickers for League of Legends sponsored headset or whatever. Thus it looks "gaming" and not "could defend your house at 3am by swinging it over your head and knocking out invaders" which might make you skiddish if you have small kittens, small children, or drunk jerk friends. So far, they've not shown any issues as far as wear over a month or so, but if you're in a more hectic environment, you might choose a more solid looking set.

4 out of 5 eggsGood sound but not without flaws

Pros: 1.This headset delivers mostly solid sound.
2. Surround does the job.
3. Bass is nice, not too much-preference
4.I have a fairly large head and I find this set quite comfy.
5.Mic is very sturdy

Cons: 1. About a year and a half in, after some mild abuse(tossed on bed, sometimes falling 1½ feet to the floor) the headset snapped at the curved portion that meets the swivel joint. This was easily repaired with moldable glue that turns into rubber.
2. Sound bleeds a fair in and out of the cans.
3. General flimsiness in the cans themselves

Other Thoughts: They are good deal for the price, especially on sale, but I myself am interested in getting a stand alone mic and headphone set up for a more sound isolated set up.
