- Format new hard drive before use this dock
- eSATA and USB 3.0 ports can’t be accessed at the same time. If both are connected, only the eSATA-connected computer will be able to recognize and interact with the drive
The surface temperature of HDD may reach 50°C, mind and be careful when removing it
- Make sure the label side of the HDD is ahead and the HDD connector is downward so that it could be inserted.

1. How can I do when the hard drive doesn't work and there is noise arising from its MAG head?
A: It occurs when power supply is not adequate enough to start the hard drive. Make sure the power plug is inserted, and connect the USB or eSATA cable to the counterpart ports.

2. When I finished the hardware installation following the manual, the external device failed to be detected by the system. Why?
A: 1) Please check the hard drive and format it if it's a new one.
2) If using eSATA to transfer, please make sure your motherboard supports hot swap. If not, connect the docking to the eSATA port on computer before starting it.
