1 out of 5 eggsNever received

Pros: NONE, never received this item

Cons: I was looking forward to receiving this SD card but I never received it. it was cheap enough to just forget about it.

If only I knew it would never arrive. the tracking says it was delivered and there was no way to convince I never received it. I have tried but everyone believes the tracking info, not the customer.

Other Thoughts: maybe this was just a one time miss delivery and you would receive it.

5 out of 5 eggsContinues to work well - now 3 years old

Pros: The card writes and reads fast enough for my needs.
It has worked for 3 years with no problems!!
I purchased it in November 2011.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use it in my Panasonic camera and computer regularly.
I'm definitely an above-average camera user, but not a professional photographer.

3 out of 5 eggsWarning if You Put this in Your Camera

Pros: It was a fare buy at the time, more than a year ago. Subjectively, it appears "fast enough" for amateur photo work.

Cons: Semi-incompatible with Panasonic Lumix FZ35. Problems appear in 2 ways:
-Occasionally, unpredictably, it will later say that a particular photo cannot be displayed by the camera
-It will give a black blank screen when you try to view, on the camera, a video you have taken.
-The video IS viewable on computer, but a rotating bright line may appear in the video. (This last may not be the SD card's fault. Digital cameras are complex beasts.)

Other Thoughts: To give Transcend the benefit of the doubt, I set the card aside for a number of months before trying it again. The problem didn't vanish in the interim. I believe that this problem is specific to this card because NO other brand I have used (and I have used many!) has failed to record video on this camera. Of course, you may have no issue with your camera. But I won't buy this brand again for photographing.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Card arrived very quickly and in good condition. It is much faster than my old Class 2 SD!

Cons: I now realize that my card reader is too slow!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended

Pros: - Provided me with 16GBs of storage without breaking down.

Cons: - None

Other Thoughts: I personally have only been using this for my Nintendo 3DS so the only factors that really mattered for me were storage and lasting ability. The class doesn't have any affect. Happy to report that if you're looking for an SD card for your Nintendo 3DS, this is the one.

I capped out at 84 downloaded software titles (not including demos, images, or videos, just pure games).

1 out of 5 eggsRMAed twice already

Pros: Average reading/writing speed when it works

Cons: The 1st card failed after 7 days of light use (about 2000 pics by Nikon D5100). RMA process took about 3 weeks. 2nd card failed 2 weeks ago (not recognized by either D5100 nor PC) only after about 300 pics written. Really disappointed with this product and brand. I have never RMAed a memory card twice in my whole life.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention as it is very rare that a customer has 2 RMAs in a row. Please contact Transcend Technical Support and let us know how the cards came to fail and we'll be happy to help you troubleshoot them or RMA them.
