How long are the included cables?  I'm going to have this on wall mount extended 18" and I need to make sure it reaches the GPU.

The cables are about 4 feet (48 inches) long. My cables are behind my desk and there is about 3 feet of space between my monitor to my computer and there is slack in the cable. This isn't precise, but close.

If you need more than 36" of cable, you should get a better verification, but if you need anything 36" or less, you will be fine with the cables that come in the box.

It is a good monitor. Enjoy!

I'm not sure if it's v2 but I have not had an issue with any tearing or stuttering. Just make sure the settings are enabled through the pc for the 144hz refresh rare and it'll be smooth sailing.

I think I remember hearing all of these came out of the factory with the V1 firmware and you had to do the update on your own. For my daily gaming though I don't even use the Blur Reduction feature and my experience has been quite stellar anyway (I play lots of FPS paired with MSI 7970 and it works just fine, great monitor overall).

What is the actual height of the monitor plus stand with the stand fully collapsed? In other words, what is the minimum height of the monitor with the stand?

The actual height on the stand fully collapsed (down) is 16.25 inches. The monitor without the stand is 15 inches tall in case you are interested in other mounting options.

Any monitor can be wall mounted if your money is right, but with this monitor it's not the point Benq is trying to reach . No it cAnt unless your money is right :)

I bought mine on July 26th. Mine did not come with the V2 firmware however you can get this firmware by typing "benq monitor firmware" into google and clicking the first link which is a link to Benq's downloads page for their gaming monitors. After downloading you can install it yourself.

Has anyone tried to repaint the red parts?

One of the major red parts is the headphone hook that completely comes off, so I'd imagine that'd be easily painted. Or just kept off of you won't use it.
