Yes, it is very easy. Just press the "1" button, select "input select", and then select the connection that you want.

What is the amount of FPS you are getting in your game?

We don't use this monitor for gaming, but a monitor does not determine your FPS.  Since the monitor is rated at 60hz the ideal framerate it can produce without "screen tearing" will be 60FPS; but this depends on if you computer can produce the 60FPS for the monitor to display.

Also, if you are upgrading to a higher resolution monitor you will be adding additional strain on your system, which can lower your FPS.

TL;DR - The display will only minimally affect your FPS in a game.  For the most part your computer and graphics card will dictate how many FPS you get.

Does the HDMI interface of this monitor include audio channel that can be selected as one input source for the build-in speakers?

Not sure what you mean by one input source. The monitors built in speakers will work with a HDMI cable connection. Be aware that the built in speakers for this monitor are of low quality. You will want to use external speakers.  The picture quality is very nice once it is properly calibrated. I have noticed that with a DVI connection I have kelvin temp control but not with the HDMI cable.

I have no problems with visual clarity of text or images.  Running in 1920x1080 mode.  Started with 2 of these and added 2 more.  Concern would be built-in speakers are a little weak, but that's not an issue for my use.

DVI is better video quality and faster. HDMI has to also handle sound and video in one cable. I personally do not use the speakers on a monitor.

Is the VX series better than the VA series?
Also, I would rather have a display port than HDMI.
I have always used dvi in the past.
my previous monitor was vx2250wm and never once tried the speakers. you don't buy a monitor for the speakers folks.
