yes, but i believe limited to standard size sheet of paper 81/2 x 11,  software is quirky though, would never buy this again.  I use the printer and copier end of it and it does a decent job just the software drives me crazy.  for scanning I went out and purchased a scansnap from Fujitsu, works nice.

No, the maximum papers size is legal size -- 8.5 x 14.

I don't believe so.   It does work really great for copying.  I love the fact I can copy legal or letter.  And, the scanner works really good.

Yes.  It has an auxiliary tray you can use for 8.5 x 14 legal size paper an it works really well.  I use it all the time.  You have to feed the legal size paper you want to copy through the sheet feeder but it's really quick and works great too.

The printer comes with starter cartridges which can be refilled at least once with the toner power you can by on Ebay. I did this with my monochrome Brother laser printer and the results were identical.
