This 3D Systems PLA plastic filament cartridge is for use with second-generation Cube printers. PLA is a plant-based plastic; it is biodegradable and gives off a slightly sweet odor (not unlike roasting corn) during the printing process. With its lower layer heights, sharper corners, and low warping, the PLA product is great for personal or household use .
This cartridge is easy to install and switch out. The Cube printer notifies you of the remaining amount of material, and won't let you start a print job if there is not enough. The cartridge cannot be swapped in the middle of a print.
Note! Not compatible with first-generation Cube and CubeX 3D printers.
