Does the frost core that is mentioned a few times, come with this device or is it a separate thing?

John. It comes with it. You swap it out with the internal dvdrom drive.

Does this product have RGB lighting on the keyboard where you could change it to any color that you want? Am I able to shut off all of the lights on the keyboard including the macro keys?

No it doesn't have RGB lighting. It is only red on the keyboard and blue for the number pad on the right side. The macro key numbers can be turned off when hitting the "program button" on top of those 5 number keys on the left. But I can't seem to turn off the light where it shows the p on the far left on the keyboard.

Does it have an m.2 slot? I would like to set up a dual boot with W7 and Linux Ubuntu. Anybody foresee problems with that?Thanks.

It has several of them. 4 to be exact and you still have your SATA connection. You can do raid and still use other M2'2 for the dual boot or back up.
