As  long as it has a Lightning Connector, it will charge any iPhone 5 and up. The OS is incidental. This is strictly a hardware issue, not a software one.

This cable works with iPhone 5 and 5s. It will also work with the 5th generation iPod Touch (the colorful ones) and the 7th generation iPod Nano models.

I don't know but Apple would know and they're are super-cooperative.
I would guess that they are compatible since these cables can transfer more information than the hardware is able to process.

This cable is only compatible with 5th generation iPod Touch devices and 7th generation iPod Nano devices. Any older iPod would use the 30-pin connector and would require an adapter to work with this cable.
