Supersized and Super Sharp
Powerful hardware needs a matching monitor to show it all off. That's why MSI's Gaming All-in-One PCs are featured with a large frameless anti-glare display, capable of playing Full HD images and videos without the hassle of light reflections preventing you from seeing what's happening on your screen. The frameless design eliminates the constraint of conventional touch screens and improves the utilization of touch control. Besides that, the frameless design strengthens the quality and modern looks of the All-in-One PC. The frameless design also makes the All-in-One PC more durable, dust and scratch resistant than the traditional frame exterior. As more and more PC games available on app-stores and game shops are supporting movement gestures via touch, the MSI Gaming All-in-One PCs come with a multi-touch interface, even supporting 10-finger touch control.

Flicker-Free All-in-One PC
According to medical research, the average flickering rate of conventional monitors is 200 times per second. This means that your eyes will suffer from over 5 million flickers in a standard 8-hour working day, which can result in computer vision syndrome. The Flicker-free technology integrated into the AG2712A display stabilizes the power current and prevents flickering invisible to the naked eye under normal conditions. When used for extended periods of time, it effectively reduces eyestrain while also improving productivity.

4 out of 5 eggsUnique Option for Gamers

Pros: -Takes up less space than a gaming laptop hooked up to a 27 inch monitor
-The system is relatively lightweight which makes it reasonably portable
-Nice aesthetics (a bit of flair without being too gaudy)
-Fast gaming hardware
-Storage drive can be upgraded
-Speakers sound great
-Quiet while gaming
-VESA mount compatible
-Touch-screen is a nice bonus

Cons: -Not as portable as a laptop
-Slow hard drive (but you can swap it out)
-Not compatible with MSI's Live Update software
-CPU and GPU are not able to be upgraded
-Included keyboard is cramped
-Screen has poor viewing angles that makes colors seem washed out at times

Other Thoughts: -This PC feels like a niche product. I think most gamers will prefer to either build their own desktop system or they will want the portability of a gaming laptop. It's just what I needed, but I think I am in the minority.

5 out of 5 eggsI own the 024US version...

Pros: Original review: http://www.newegg.com/Product/SingleProductReview.aspx?ReviewID=3960494

Cons: Came with a 4200RPM drive (fixed, see below).

Monitor is very large - expecially for 1080 resolution. Would have loved the same machine spec in 24".

Other Thoughts: I'm adding on some new info. I have the 024us, which as far as I know only differs by having an SSD as well as 16gb of RAM.

I recently opened it up to replace the hard drive with a 7200rpm drive. FWIW mine had a Caviar Green originally.

This case was remarkably easy to open compared to what I've read about other MSI AIO machines. (Note: You just voided your warranty - yeah yeah).

There are about 5 small screws around the back of the case. You also need to take off the stand - which is attached with a standard VESA mount. That's pretty much it. Very very little 'split the case with a credit card or screwdriver' required. No removing of the VGA or any other connector ports required.

Oh - you would want to slide it towards the DVD direction while popping it off to work it around the tray door - but that also does not need to be removed.

Inside, it is /very/ clean. The HD is under a stand alone housing that can be unscrewed. The cabling for it is clean and easy to attach/detach.

I wasn't looking towards other upgrades, but I do not remember having access to the RAM or SSD at this point. There is a second larger housing next to the HD. I believe those components are underneath it. This house would be slightly harder to remove - but for the life of me I don't remember why. It was either wiring or some other secondary connector that would have to be removed to get into it. Whatever it was, it was enough that I didn't bother to open it just for exploring. I did decide that if I was ever compelled to upgrade the RAM/SSD, I wouldn't hesitate out of concern for getting into the housing.

It also went back together just as easily, which was nice. The case screws do sit deep, so it will be easier with a magnetic screwdriver head.

Still very happy with this machine.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Large Screen
Fast boots with SSD
Touch Screen is nice and doesn't smudge easily
Ultra Quiet
Nice graphical power - SWTOR on high looks GREAT

Cons: Only comes with Windows 8

Other Thoughts: I love this PC. It's big, but doesn't hurt my eyes. 15 seconds or less to boot from cold with the optional SSD. The graphics are very nice; strong enough to handle what's out now.

I however, dislike Windows 8 with a passion. It's not intuitive unless you've never seen a regular PC. It's exclusively a phone/tablet OS. It needs to be abolished ASAP. I downloaded ClassicShell and I'm satisfied with the level of PC style navigation it gives me, though I wish I could just forget Windows 8's Metro UI ever happened...

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible quality and customer service

Pros: Great looking product. Fit and finish satisfactory. Nice large bright screen when I can get ti to turn on.

Cons: Computer simply does not work when you turn it on. OS and BIOS are in constant conflict. Customer service is non-existent to resolve. It's like I wake up in the morning to a schizophrenic business partner. Sometimes he's a little grumpy and makes me reboot 3-5 times to finally get into the OS to boot (usually in safe mode) and get to work. Sometimes he's playful and makes you mess around in the BIOS for a few minutes before he decides to work. And on two occasions he's just been suicidal where I've had to completely re install the OS JUST to get the computer to turn on. It's been a terrible experience. And FORGET upgrading to 8.1 . This machine apparently just can't handle it.
Customer service spends about 5 minutes on the phone with me and just sends me PDF's of different trouble shooting methods. Sometimes the troubleshooting guide is about my computer, other times it's about an MSI laptop or another product. Very apathetic in their approach and just throw something out to get me off the phone. Almost as if they feel like they have my money already, now they need to do as little as possible in order to preserve their profit.
Shame on you MSI for allowing this device to remain in the world and make my life miserable instead of doing the proper thing and replacing the machine.
Don't buy Don't buy Don't buy

Other Thoughts: I just want a computer that works when I turn it on.
From my experience, they can not make one nor can they troubleshoot one to get it up and running.
Do not do business with MSI until they fix customer service and improve the products. I have both this AIO and a tablet. They all look like incredible machines, but unfortunately looks are all you seem to get.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for the issues that you are having with this product.
Once you've switched to Win 8.1 you will need to update drivers to Win8.1.

4 out of 5 eggsWonderful!

Pros: I was contemplating about getting a gaming desktop, but then I ran into this option and didn't think twice. If you are occasional gamer and just want a big screen look no further. It is fast, handles BF4 beta on High settings excellent @1080p resolution and most importantly doesn't get loud like my 17" gaming laptop. During normal use the only thing I hear is the hard drive working and it uses 50 watts and can go up to 150 watts during gaming. Speakers are great and can get quite loud.Matte screen is great for no reflections.

Cons: Price (should probably be couple hundred less)
Wireless card (no AC and not even a dual band)
Previous gen CPU
Slow Hard Drive, why not at least 7200 rpm
Not upgradable without voiding warranty
Too much bezel
1080p resolution while good for gaming for this card, doesn't look that great up close on 27"
Stand, I feel like it could tip over
Touch screen is good to have, but I am not sure if I will get much use out of it, it also doesn't seem responsive like a tablet

Other Thoughts: Newegg messed up my order and did not ship bonus gifts, hopefully they''ll resolve that soon.
