No.  You can downgrade it if you have a Windows 7 license though, which newegg sells as well, last I checked.

This laptop has an integrated graphics chip.  This is separate from the CPU, although they have generally low graphics power.  If you plan to play any serious games, I would suggest looking for laptops with 'discrete' graphics cards.  These are usually designed by nVidia (GeForce) or AMD (Radeon).

Otherwise, this is a very solid laptop.  I purchased it for my mother (an accountant) and she loves it.

tl;dr not for gaming, but great for movies or business stuff.

This chipset  allows up to 16 GB 2x8 DDR3 memory however there might be a limit from the Asus bios. It's definitely worth a try. Go with 1333 or 1600 speed.

No, it has Intel HD 4600 graphics. For strictly gaming, on a budget, i would point you to an AMD laptop with an APU. Those are leaps and bounds better than intel integrated graphics. If you can spend a bit more, then i would go with a discrete graphics solution. (its a separate chip, not onboard).

No, but on a budget check out AMD APU powered laptops. A10 being the best, A8 being one step down, and then A6 and A4.

X750 ASUS website does not have any driver for Windows 7.

Therefore after having downgrad OS then some or most of all

hardare will not function.

So my answer is ASUS X750 is not downgrad unit.

It goes quicker than I would have liked.  I don't know what it says the battery life is.  All in all it seems to be a really good computer, just the battery life goes too quickly.  I can't quantify how long it lasts, sorry I'm not more help.
