The ProMonitor 800 is Definitive’s “Better” satellite speaker in the acclaimed Pro Series. Four ProMonitor 800s along with a ProCenter 1000 and ProSub 800 makes a complete ProCinema 800 system. All the components of the system are packed and sold separately allowing you to mix and match Pro Series components to build the system that best suits your needs.

The Secret to Their Big SoundCompeting satellite speakers of this size usually have weak lower-midrange response; that part of the audio range that contains the ‘warmth” and “body” of voices and musical instruments. The ProMonitor satellites avoid this critical problem by pressure-coupling our exclusive BDSS technology driver to an equal-sized mid/bass radiator cleverly placed on the top of the satellite. This technique doubles the lower-midrange radiating area of the speaker without increasing the size of the enclosure.
