That menas the computer comes with a Dell supplied 3 year Next Business Day Support on the PC. You will have to perform a transfer of ownership on the service tag of the computer into your name to activate, but this is easily done on the Dell website.

Does it come with a keyboard, mouse, and/or monitor?

It comes with a basic dell branded keyboard and mouse.

No monitor is included, but it has VGA and displayport video out.

Is the 4 gb memory 2x2gb or 1x4gb? Need to know if open slot.

I believe it is 1 x 4gb. I found that answer on another website selling the same unit.

Question 5

I'm looking for a new unit that I can use a mouse with. Is this such a unit? I don't want anything to do with a touch screen. Can I also attach optional external speakers?

You MUST use a mouse as this is a Windows 7 computer and NOT a Windows 8.

Yes, you can plug in any set of computer speakers you want.

Hi Linda L, NBD is "Next Business Day", when you can expect to get a technician or parts, on site. Call Dell, give them the serial number, and they will tell you; or browse to dell dot com. WARNING: do not discard the box the Dell came in, as a shipping label will show who NewEgg bought the Dell from. The warranty starts when NewEgg bought it, not when NewEgg sold it. Mine came from Ingram Micro and I had to re-register the computer with Dell. This was a big surprise. HTH, Carl

Yes it did come with a keyboard and mouse.  It also came with a Windows 8 disk, but no fault of Dell, I am having trouble installing it.
